This is SEW helpful, Becky! I just did 2 teapots where the stitches went the wrong way on the inside of their handles. I didn’t notice it until they were done. Thank you so very much for ALL the great teaching videos you provide!!! LOVE your channel & You, too! 🩷

Perfect. I always wondered what those little red arrows were - afraid to play with them.

Love your videos. I’m having this issue, I go through all the steps but it still does not reverse. Edited to say - I got it! I was not opening the design up enough!

If the original scanned design had several layers that was seen by the SNC or if you imported an SVG with many layers, this can be difficult. It's best to use a Crayola marker and create a clean copy of the design on a sheet of paper and then scan that. That will prevent the SNC from seeing all the layers that are used to create commercial paper patterns. Good luck!

Great video! How would you do this with zigzag stitches? Can they not go to the inside of the design? I think there are some programs where you can inflate and deflate the stitches (in relation to the design edge).

If these steps work in Stitch Artist 1,(per your pop-up) how do you Import the Vector, SA2 has a Vector button that I've seen you use. thank you for all your work

Importing vectors is part of Stitch Artist 2. However, you can correct backwards stitches in all modules of Stitch Artist.

    What about simply applique?

    • @PowerToolsWithThread

Good question! You can't correct backwards stitches in Simply Applique or BES. That's one of the reasons I have changed my preferred software to Embrilliance.
