What a beautiful performance of such an amazing work of art. To think students in a secondary school labored using their talents and skills with the guidance of teachers and this young conductor, brought to life from the written page a moving message of love and devotion. I see that this concert took place five years ago. I know many of these young people have moved on to other things. I do hope they will always remember with fondness the friends they made and the music they gave to the world to experience.
Lux Aeterna (1997) (un ciclo muy conocido dentro de su producción sacra) Coro y orquesta de Cámara/ órgano I. Introitus II. In Te, Domine, Speravi III. O Nata Lux IV. Veni, Sancte Spiritus V. Agnus Dei
I know this piece pretty well and it sounded almost flawless. The instrumentalists have great concentration. I've heard Ivy league college orchestras that don't sound this good. They put American HS students to shame.
There's no doubt these musicians are extremely talented. However, the last part of your message where you basically called out American HS students for their lack of talent, was pretty sad. You have a narrow mind. If indeed your statement is true, think of a more constructive way to get your point across. Good luck buddy.
Maravillosa interpretación de esta obra monumental de M. Lauridsen.

Terrific rendition of the Lauridsen piece. Amazing considering how young these musicians are.
I wish I had a choir with so many young voices.

This can only come from God
Actually, it came from a man. And that makes it much greater, IMO.
@@rand0mn0 God creates man as the secondary cause of the músic. But God remains the primary cause of everything. Necessary.
