Recently gone out and helped with my mother going from a 2010 Polo 1.4 SE with 85hp, to a 2018 Polo SEL 1.0 with 115hp, the newer model was such a nice step up from the old one, both are cracking cars too
I've driven a non turbo 80bhp and 90bhp pre face lift. You're right about the performance. The non turbo was horribly slow but the turbo gave it the midrange torque to make it bearable
It's a great car to drive. I've got a 20 plate one. A bit bummed that I didn't wait a bit longer and get this face lifted one. Really like the new tail lights.
I have the 2018 tsi beats edition coming from a 2.0 mx5, its still fun to drive and getting nearly double mpg with more comfort for my 57 year old self
Great review! Trying to decide between a Polo and T-Cross. I come from a Toyota Yaris range and I do not want a significantly bigger car but one that also handles the potholes here in Malta. What’s the differences between the 2024 versions of both?
Do you know whether the dsg version is quicker or around the same as on sites like auto trader it seems to say 0-60 is a whole second slower even tho it’s auto

Amazing first car!
My first NEW car (in 1977) was a polo- mark1. It cost £ 4500. I just ordered another new one- £27000. A bit different!
Nice!
😂😂😂😂, it hurts when you are over 40 because there was a time where little hatchbacks were cheap
Have the r line in purple auto. Brilliant car.

Does the R-line have sports suspension like Audi’s S line or Seat’s FR?
Hello Simon, I don’t think it does
Sponsored video? Should review some other cars in this class like the peugeot 208 gt line
Hi Martijn, none of our videos are sponsored. We are just simply testing the waters with everyday cars!
There's a typo in the thumbnail, it should be "its"
Does the 95bhp r-line have a turbocharger
This model does yes
Nice air freshener big lad
I20 bettr no?
How would the room be for a tall driver ?
Room is good
It's good for me, front and back seats
awesome
That’s a lot of ££ for a polo. I was rather looking forward to this.
Until I heard the price!
