    Gawn for Marshall, gives you 200k to help that midfield, as you drop one of the 4 top premos. Holmes will score well but option like K.Amon, N.Martin, M. Crouch, O.Wines are a little more however have more upside. N.Martin could avg 105 this year with that half back roll. I wouldnt mind seeing either Bont or Green down to him and then Holmes to one of the other 3. M. Roberts (Swans), J.Sharp, Lazzaro, A.Schoenmacker. all solid rookie options for say a N.Watson who wont score heavy and may not play. Z.Dursma could score well but could drop and use the money elsewhere. J.Jordan could also be brought to the fwd line where we are thin for options this year. My F1 is currently Fisher and he is my highest costing player. E.Tsatas could be another interesting pick down forward.

    Voss stated on Watch AFL (Monday 4th March) that Zac Williams is playing this week.
    As you have Rowan Marshall you may want to select a 200K non-playing Ruck option for your Bench so that you can take advantage of the captain's loophole.
    You probably have too much money on the bench which may restrict your early cash growth.

    Nice looking team mate Definitely a improvement from the last one, a few pieces of advice would be that Defense is probably a little thin, Rory Laird probably a no go, his CBAs are looking to decrease i’d also go without Macrae think he’s struggling to get fit for round 1. I’d really fear going without Gawn get him in. And definitely look at other rookies in your forward bench, Pure forwards most weeks will struggle to score, some options could be Lazarro at that elevated price or could consider moving Windsor forward for say a Matt Roberts

    Really good improvement in the team from last video. I would potentially look at WInes instead of Holmes, due to the schedule of Port Adelaide early on. Obviously Coleman being injured changes the team and I would potentially look at Yeo and even Reid from Essendon on the bench instead of Pink. Downgrade Conway to get 100k to use somewhere else. I would go Flanders, Jackson or Heeney instead of Macrae too.

  • @ryanmorty3233
    @ryanmorty3233 10 месяцев назад +1

    I don’t see too much improvement in Macrae. Realistically there hasn’t been any more cbas opened up even with Smith out. Still gonna be stuck on the flank or the wing from what I’ve looked into. Happy to be proven wrong. Think it’d be more beneficial to start with Cam Mackenzie over Fyfe. Fyfe I don’t think is a fantasy player this year. Good option for SC tho. I’d consider running 3 rookie mids if that can get you a D’ambrosio or yeo in the backline over Gibcus. Would also look into Amon/Martin over one of your premo mids. Although if you leave it as is. It’s still a solid squad

      Honestly it doesn't matter because he'll attend plenty of stoppages, particularly if the dogs are locking it in their forward half. He thrives off the contest and regardless of where he's listed you know he'll attend a ton of stoppages and at least SOME centre bounces. With that in mind he's still a good option (for SuperCoach at least)

    Not sold on Max Holmes. For not much more, you can get Nick Martin, Ollie Wines or Matt Crouch, who I reckon are better options at that price.
    Also, Tom Green is obviously a jet but I don't see him being that much further ahead of other uber premiums that don't have an early bye like Dawson, Merrett or Butters (who is expected to play R1). That one could bite me though, so maybe you just want to back the Brownlow-tier talent of Green.
    And I agree with what others have said about too much cash on the bench, but as we hear more about rookies playing, we hopefully will have a good amount of $200k rookies playing. Love you work mate!

  • @stallon720

    Much nicer team this time.
    You dont want Gibcus on field he wont score enough, Zac Williams or Nick Coffield are common D6 options, not D4-5, so spend up a bit more in defence.
    As an Eagles man I like to get as many Eagles as I can reasonably get and aside from Reid, Yeo is the only one who looks viable to start the year so hes a lock for me :p, hes very cheap for what he could be, despite the injury risk.
    Try to organise your team so Jordon, and Wilson are in the forward line, there are better midfield rookie options than fwd options. Sharp, Roberts, and Clark look like the good ones to start with.
    Probably a bit top heavy in the midfield, ideally every single one of your players is value, and it could be argued your first 4 mids arent value enough to be worth starting. I think its ok to have a couple of them, but you could use some of that cash to fix that backline.
    A couple of popular slightly cheaper mids you could downgrade to in your midfield are Nic Martin who is poised to get "the daicos role" at the bombers, and Ollie Wines who is primed to be the main inside mid at port again this year. I like the Holmes pick I have him as a sneaky point of difference (POD) too.
    Dont mind Marshall or Grundy, most are picking 2 of Gawn/Grundy/Xerri but Marshall will be a bit of a POD and could be huge.
    Macrae played VFL in the preseason, looks to be behind Sanders and Harmes to be 6th in line for mid time, also got dumped from the leadership team. Hard pass for me at this stage.
    Watson and Duursma shouldnt score much, look at Lazzaro, Windsor or Wilson as your forward bench options. I currently have Reid/Lazzaro/Windsor/Wilson as my F5, F6 and forward bench players for reference.

      Thanks brother! Yeah I've weaseled Yeo into the team now haha

  • @benjohnson8148
    @benjohnson8148 10 месяцев назад

    You probably don't want Gibcus on your field, he should only be a bench option. You could use the money from Conway (who you should probably chop) and the money from getting rid of one of your premo mids to get to a Buderick type or if you can find the extra cash somebody like a Jordan Clark.
    There are a few 700k options that you can bring in instead of say Laird, but you choose who you'd want to swap out. Amon and Martin(Ess) will get Def status by round 6 so you may want to bring one of them in, Then there's the likes of Wines and Matt Crouch the old "Fallen Premium". I have both of them atm, but you'll be ok picking just one, seeing as how you're going with Holmes, And as others have said, Jordan should probably be moved to your fwd line.
    This year in particular, having too many 200k rookies could hurt you, especially in defence, given our lack of options. Pink has good job security but won't score anywhere near enough to be any real value, I'd swap him for somebody with more scoring potential even if it means a higher cost.
    And just 1 final note, Unless I've miscounted you have 10 opening-round players, with 7 of them on the ground, that's too many, I only have 7 in total with 4 on the field which is probably too many as is.

    Ok, Bro, Your mids are too strong, there's not enough uplift. Put a little into the backline, those blokes like Gibcus will do nothing for you.
    Avoid uber primo's on the bye, like Tom Green, it's statistically not worth it, maybe for Daicos or Gulden, but still, it's a risk.
    Love the Ruck line, love the max Holmes pick. Marshall is a great captain option. You need two blokes that you can C and VC, So a Marshall or a Bont is a good move, look up the loop and how it works, you get two shots at your captain if you do it right.
    Look for about 20 points of upside for your mid pricers, get the good rookes, and two super high performers for your C and VC.
    Some good picks though, not bad for a rookie. Good luck.

    if I was u ill trade laird down to N.Martin and bring Grundy up to Gawn, as for forward switch Wilson and Windsor, I would also try get Gibcus of the field and get someone like Clark/yeo by trading macrae for C.mackenzie or switch jordon to forward and trade in someone like hustwaite or wardlaw as I can't see I role in the midfield at the dogs consistently. also, I would trade watson and duursma to lazzaro and simpson/mannagh, this is my opinion

    Your main issue is that you have too many big midfielders, maximum of 1 for captaincy. Green, Bont and Laird will all score well but present no/very little value. Going down to somebody like Jack Steele, Zak Butters, Jai Newcombe, LDU will free us salary to fix other issues, and can still give points whist being potentially value.
    Your defence is also very cheap. I would consider trading Gibcus up to a Yeo or Clarke.
    I've gone cold on grundy after he was sharing ruck time with ladhams on the weekend - and somebody like Max Gawn could score only slightly less than Marshall for much less price. Paying up for Conway is only really a play if you have both Gawn and Grundy - as both have early byes, otherwise any basement Ruck/Forward from West Coast/Richmond will suffice.
    You're hot on Macrae, I'm not, but he could be value so picking him is fine. Forward line is otherwise fine. You have chosen rookies who mightn't score well on bench despite being selected (e..g. Duursma/Watson), personally have Windsor and Lazzaro in their spot, allowing Matt Roberts and Sharp in the midfield.

    • @KBSportsFantasy
      @KBSportsFantasy 10 месяцев назад

      Grundy will be Solo ruck this weekend and if you extrapolate his numbers he would have gone a lazy 90 if he got the ruck time we expect from a solo ruck. Also if Shrek is cooked you might have the bye coverage you need from Grundy to make him a worthwhile selection as you can get it in the forward line now

    • @stallon720
      @stallon720 10 месяцев назад

    Gibcus is bench only, james jordon lock but should be placed in forwardline as clogging up a midfield spot, possible to go gawn but cant talk you out of marshall, not worth paying up for conway. Avoid macrae as heavily interupted preseason and may not have high CBAs.
