If you want to learn how to trade , you have to commit lots of patience and open your mind to the candle sticks learn the emotional traits, it helps, no sense in getting angry at your error, just learn ,it takes lots of practice!! Demos are the best!! A few cents to a few bucks and so on

I'm still learning about forex but I don't quite understand the use of stop loss and take profits? Compared to stock market you will only buy a certain amount of shares at a certain price and resell it at a higer price. So in forex how does it work? How do you buy or sell currency? Thank you!

Myles, perhaps you are thinking of stop-loss orders. In a stop-loss order, you place a stop below market price so you can sell and get out with minimal losses in a downward trending asset.
