I make these all the time. They were a game changer for our family. But I mix my seasoning right into the dough, I find that it doesn’t stick well if you sprinkle it on top. Another awesome combination is freshly grounded parm cheese and garlic powder.
With a base of flax seed meal, psyllium husk powder, and chia seeds, the possibilities are endless. I add rice protein powder, hemp hearts, whole flax seeds, and various spices. I make them pretty thick, about 1/2 as thick as a Graham cracker, and they are very sturdy, great for loading up with dip. These are one of the healthiest things I eat regularly. I have not tried yet, but I think you might be able to bake these sufficiently in the sun on a hot Summer afternoon.
I store them in an air tight container and they stay fresh and crispy for days… but you will eat them so quick, you won’t need to store them for long 😊
There are some women who have the genetic ability to have this muscle definition, of course when they put the effort into it. Then there are some women who will not be able to get this type of muscle definition regardless of how much or how hard they work out. But they will have firmer arm muscles, just not the sculptured definition.
@@tillygirl7450 Everyone has the ability to limit carbs thereby lowering their body fat & work out to achieve definition. But it takes lots of vision, work, self control, desire & fortitude. That's what most lack... Genes have very little to do with it.
I appreciate you!! I cannot have almond flour due to my Oxalate Toxicity. My recipe is similar, but I use Lupin flour. I found one that has no bitter aftertaste at all. Avanti. And I started using a tortilla press. I would divide the dough evenly, and use pre-cut circular rounds that you can get on Amazon. They work fabulous with a tortilla press and cook them in tortilla pressed circles cut. Sometimes when I’m lazy, I won’t even cut them. I’ll just poke holes with a fork. Then cook it and when they cool, I’ll just crack them up cracked crackers. 😮😂
Cheese, crackers and OLIVES!!!! I can't wait to make these. Thank you, thank you, thank you a thousand times thank you!! I no longer feel weird calling this dinner.
I am going to try these. I don't have patience with rolling and cutting, so I may try rolling into little balls and using a tortilla press for round crackers, lol. This recipe sounds fantastic. Love so many or your recipes and they have been such a great help to stick to this diet. Learning a whole new skill set even though I am an experienced cook.
That's a great idea! Thanks - I have these little squares of parchment paper I use for making hamburgers, they would be great for this. In fact my hamburger press might work too...
@@robinq5511 I put plastic bags on the top and wrap a piece of plastic wrap around the bottom of my tortilla press. I was cursing a blue streak one day when my keto tortillas stuck to the parchment, lol! I also did it for those Little Debbie oatmeal pie cookies, since I was trying to get the proper serving size to measure carbs. If I tried rolling and cutting I would never have gotten the right amount. Hamburger press might work too, I wish I had one. Just remember to not press too hard and to rotate your cracker 1 or 2x to press evenly. I have much better luck with the proper serving amounts this way. I think I will roll 1/2 the amount and have larger crackers and adjust my carb count accordingly. Good luck to you!
My thoughts exactly! I have a press and am thinking of giving this a try with that. Other crackers I made I rolled out, but the thin edges are just too thin for me.
Carolyn, i have to thank you for your recipes. I always see if you have what i'm looking for first. I've made recipes from many channels that just don't work out, but yours always do! I made these today for the first time, and they are wonderful. Crackers are one of the few foods I have missed on keto. Thanks for another great recipe!
I just made these this morning and they turned out great! Now I have another option for a quick snack or to go with a salad. Thank you for sharing this recipe. Your directions are so easy to follow and I love your energy and personality.
U probably hv a good recipe. I wudnt know. Cos I CUDNT take my eyes off of ur arms! 💪😍 I thot I saw d most sinewy arms on Courtney Cox & Julie Bowen. But u r PHENOMENAL, woman! 🙋 Wat kind of workout do u do?
Great recipe Carolyn! Didn't know what to expect as far as taste, but they're just right. I used avocado oil and while the dough seemed greasy, the crackers were crispy. Next time I'll try butter. Didn't have a silicon mat so rolled out on parchment with parchment on top. Then flipped onto cookie sheet. Everything worked out. Love your videos. Thanks for all the hard work you do to make keto work!!!
I have a sensitive nose to the smell of eggs 😢. Since there is no vanilla to compensate for the iffy eggy smell, will these have this undesirable egg smell to them?
@@jejebenji You're looking at the wrong thing. The egg white is just to brush the top and help the seasoning stick. The crackers take 1 egg. Please read it carefully.
@@jejebenji I answered fully, and I answered properly. I pointed you in the right direction of the information. And you kept telling me I was wrong, despite the fact that I was actually correct.
@@jejebenji Once again, I refer you to the recipe on my site, which is EXACTLY the same as the recipe here. With the EXACT same ingredients. I made them in this video exactly as they are written. I honestly do not know how to explain it more carefully than that. Ingredients 2 cups almond flour 1/2 tsp kosher salt 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 large egg 2 tbsp melted butter or oil 1 tbsp egg white, whisked 2 tbsp Everything Bagel Seasoning (see notes to make your own)
Could you have just added the choice of flavouring when mixing the dough to incorporate it into the crackers more securely or would that tend to compromise the dough when rolling out?
I've tried Keto for a long time, but I started having increased joint pain. I read about the Oxalate count in Almond Flour. After putting back on several foods high in Oxylates, I noticed I felt better. Do you have any substitute for almond flour on this recipe. Or, do I need another recipe altogether? Thanks Texas 🤠
😢 I so miss eating keto treats with almond flour. It is high oxalate and those microscopic particles can build up in the body over time, especially if you are prone to autoimmune disorders.
Last March my hubby and I changed our lives … forever and started keto. We’ve each lost 75 pounds that’s 150 pound person between us!! lol one thing we both missed was crackers, and finding your recipe changed our lives. The only thing I changed up was putting loads of seasonings in the dough. They are AWESOME abd I just wanted to say thanks! ❤️❤️❤️
I have tons of nut free, recipes, and all you need to do is go to my website and search for them. There’s even a category in my recipe index for not free. This recipe cannot be made with gluten-free flour. Gluten-free flour is rarely low-carb anyway.
You’re awesome! And you’re saving a lot of people here! I have been the biggest yo-yo dieter for the last ten years. I finally had lost 25 pounds from last January to June with Keto and exercise, but gained it all back from this past October to now due to infertility ordeal/depression. Your recipes are the only ones worth following. Thank you for your help! 🙏🏻🙌
I am so sorry for your troubles. It's hard to focus on healthy eating when life is taking such a toll.... but I am glad my recipes are tasty enough to win you over.

Made these and I can't keep my wife away from them. Great recipe.
So glad you like them!
What is the carb count?
All nutritional information is in the recipe card on my website!

yup... quite the gun show 🤩☺️
Like her firm arms. She must workout alot.

Great recipe but not crispy enough for me...finished them off in the dehydrator for 4 hours on 110
SO EASY & CRUNCHY! I’m sold …
Thanks for sharing. Definitely trying this

I make similar but better: No oil, mix in sesame, chia, and flax seeds.
how many carbs per cracker? may I ask?
Are you Canadian? I heard “ Out” …( I have family in Ontario)
Yup.
Have you tried using a heavy cast iron tortilla press instead of rolling...even thin "crackers"
Omg! I’ve just made these. Absolutely amazing. Thank you.
The recipe you link to has an egg white. Is this an update to that recipe? I'm curious to know what difference in the end results is.

Thanks for sharing this recipe!😃👍 Have a blessed weekend 💜 🙏 ✌️ 🎶🌞

I just made these they are so good

Please go to my website and search sunflower seed flour. I have a way of making it, and I also have a cracker recipe using it.
try flax seed meal
could u come up with a recipe for toasted sesame candy:)
Ohhhhhh I'd love that!!
Thanks for another recipe idea. I'm making these later and will let you know how they come out!
Can't wait to try!!
Thank you, thank you. I love them! You are my new found cooking inspiration!
Looks yummy!
Lean the pizza cutter and you’ll have straighter lines
I have watched many keto cracker videos and this one seems more like what I can do. Thank you for sharing! Subbed! 💜🙏🏼💜
Made a batch this morning. Luv them! Thx! What is the best way to store them?
I was wondering if you could add some cheese to dough?

Time to make some keto crackers.
Thank you so much, I really enjoy all of your recipes 💗💗

Will you or have you shared the homemade boursin recipe?
Yes, it’s on my website. Just go there and use the search box and type in Boursin. It’s delicious.!
Delicious 😋😋
Hi! Chef could we change the almond flour with coconut flour? thank you.
No, please don't do that. Coconut flour would be a disaster here.
Can we incorporate some whey protein powder into these? If so, what would the ratios be?
Whey protein would cause them to be too soft and they would likely crumble
I think you may have just saved my keto diet. One question, can butter be substituted for the egg white wash?
Not sure but it’s worth a try!
Thank you❤❤❤❤❤
These crackers are absolutely delicious. Better than anything I ever bought in a box. Thank you so much for this recipe.
Thank you!
