Swish Swish if they would teach their kids about weapons safety and about weapons it would make it safer as well, I remember when I was in school their were trucks all over the parking lot with gun racks full of weapons and they were loaded and we never had a problem with a school shooting. Love seeing your boys on the channel, I started my two boys that young to. Now they are 38 and 36. And now they are showing my grandkids to shoot and hunting.

I was looking at a Compact version for my 5’4” beautiful 😍 wife. I am thinking about anything from .243/6Creedmoor up to the 7mm-08/.308s. I also have thought about the 6mm Creedmoor as a smaller option for me since I have a .270 Win and .300 WSM. My Dad already has a .243 Win in the Winchester Model 70 Featherweight which in my eyes is the most beautiful rifle out there still on the market.

Wouldn’t have it any other way.) and I am looking across a farmer’s cornfield and I see motion on the other side of the field and I stop and whip out my binocs. Sure enough it is a 6 point buck. As I become aware of my surroundings there is a truck parked 10 yards up from mine and there a younger man is glassing the buck too. I had to smile. That’s going to be your son some day. Good job. My boy Brendan loves to shoot and fish. How do you feel about the comparison between .243 and 6mm CM. Everybody is buzzing about the CM. I went for the 6.5 for deer. It has very pleasant recoil. I don’t need to go smaller for myself, but for a first rifle, both are probably ideal.

My coworkers got his son a 18 308 ruger compact he used 130 ttsx reduced recoil not to loud but 243 would make anyone deaf
@@devinb3397 I am used to using ear pro I use peltor in ear surround sound ear pro so much nicer than over ear I hunt with 300 winmag with muzzle break. I do have 18 inch 7mm08 not so bad in open area like clear cuts but in thick woods super loud

I have a question on the rifle, specifically the stock itself. When you tapped the buttstock early on we could easily hear the hollowness and that is what I want to address. I will apologize before I start for my own TBI communication issues and those of any 13 year old keyboard experts who may chime in. If the action removed and the butt and forend were roll-lined with 2 part epoxy, the polyester resin and hardener liquids or truck bed liner, and allowed to set would that remove the hollow sound? In my specific case I would want to deaden the 'It's swell if it's Mattel' M16-ish sound AND to defer shoulder surgery so a mild weight increase would actually work to my advantage... I love the 3006 but you should go with the 6.5 creedmore or the 6.8 western then the 3 of you would be using guns in the 6mm family. Like the shoulder rig. Did you ever get any of those magazines I showed you.
U should get the little guy a howa mini action in 204 ruger man, the ultralite and get a can on it, license and all.. he can go shoot crows and stuff with it,, its great training and very little recoil in addition to being lightweight and compact.. :) think about it..
Come on Dad, get the boy a custom stock fitted to him in .243. With your contacts shouldn't be a problem. But, first he needs a little lightweight .22 to learn how to use a scoped rifle. He's plenty old enough. 👍👍
