mate this was brilliant! cheers, great recap of everything beam related, although at 6:46 should it not be Qx = Ray - F?

      Yes, I think so too.

yes. this leads to an error on the expression of the moment as well. see my comment above.

There is a mistake at 6:40. The shear force Q(x) is not equal to Fd/L as you write, but to Q(x) = - F d/L. That is because Q(x) = RAy - F (and not Ray + F, as you write) and RAy is equal to F d/L (as you correctly found before).
This leads to another mistake at 7:32 where the moment is given as M(x) = Fd (1 + x/L), while it should be M(x) = Fd (1 - x/L).
It is also not fully correct to say that the shear does not depend on the position of the cut, as it is not constant along the beam, but has a discontinuity where the force is applied equal to the value of the applied force F. (The shear value changes from Q = F(1 - d/L) on the left of the force to Q = - F d L on the right of the force). This is also why you should say that the equations you write only applies to the case x > d, while for the case x < d the equations are different and can be found by writing the same internal equilibrium on a cut on the left of the force. Summarizing:
    The equations for x < d are: m Q(x) = F (1 - d/L) and M(x) = F x (1 - d/L)
    The correct equations for x > d are: Q(x) = - F d/L and M(x) = F d (1 - x/L)

There are cement blocks like square teeth or a comb that are similar to point a to point b but i didnt know is was a lower turbine
