I live in Canada and several people in my local gardening group have received seeds like these. They reported them cause they understand how much damage unknown seeds may cause.Sadly, It only takes a few curious folk to cause major damage so I really hope no one plants these seeds.

I ordered curry leaf seeds through Amazon. Amazon site didn’t mention that it is from China. I got the pckt through USPS. I opened the envelope to find some black seeds that looked like sesame seeds, but smaller in size. It was in a small clear ziplock bag labeled ‘curry leaves seeds’. I was skeptical when I saw the pckt with Chinese letters on the envelope and my doubts mounted as the seeds looked dift from what I had seen back in India. I just burnt the pckt. This happened almost two months ago.
I got a second packet two weeks back with same seeds and label unsolicited again from China. We all must stay away from Chinese products as much as possible. That’s the only way out.

Received such a package today in the UK. Marked as Beans on the outside of the envelope, as Chamomile seeds on a small plastic bag of seeds inside, but it's an unrecognisable collection of mixed seeds. Totally weird.
Another possibility was not mentioned: The citizens who have spent their lives raising plants do not want their work to be destroyed in a war. Remember in wars past, artifacts were shotgunned all over the world to preserve Chinese heritage from being destroyed. Now that the artifacts of thousands of years have been lost and destroyed from past wars, all these people have left are their current lives work randomly sent to strangers. Do not overlook this possibility. The problem is that only seed bank experts would know. Sending seeds back to China will result in the deaths of those who sent them if it was to preserve their heritage and work.
