This is a good song, and I actually discovered it from the movie Adventureland. That movie was so great! It had so many aspects to it. It's not just a funny movie.
I am a massive REM fan (upto and including "Monster")but the Velvets produce a raw, one-take sound that makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Not to mention it was written by Lou Reed of course.

BTW Alejandro Escovedo does a contemporary cover of this that is better than Reeds more recent versions.

@st4tusqu0 first of all adventure land was an indie movie that wasn't popular at all... second of all.. if you LIKE velvet underground, u should be happy people are being exposed to them no matter HOW they find them. I never understood that- when people like bands but don't want them to get popular. that's really selfish. i hope all the bands i love end up playing arena tours! it's not selling out... it's a good band getting success. if you hate pop music/culture today u should WANT this. idiot.
