I know this is off topic, but you mentioned the prosciutto in the wine cellar... Any chance you can do a video where Nonno shares how he makes his?? 💚🤍❤️
Indeed. Notice how he doesnt brag about how good his wine is. Doesnt say his way is the best. Just so humble and down to earth. Protect this man at all costs.
How could anybody not love this man!? Nonno Pasquale is the epitome of calm, kind, and patient. And don't even get me started on his wisdom and diligent perseverance! 💪😎🇮🇹❤️
I remember watching you guys make this wine last year. Nonno still has a steady hand, I hope his good health stays with him for many more wine making seasons.
Thank you guys for bringing this to us. My Nonno turns 99 in October, many good memories of making wine and the smell of the wine cellar. Wish I could go back in time and make one more batch of wine with him.
Julian, YOU are so LUCKY TO HAVE 2 WONDERFUL GRANDPARENTS...YOU ARE MAKING SO MANY MEMORIES THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO TELL AND SHOW YOUR CHILDREN, AND GRANDCHILDREN. LOVE YOUR FAMILY AND THE VIDEOS, THENK YOU FOR SHARING.❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
Now this is up my alley. It's time to stomp some grapes. 🍇🍇🍇🍇🍷🍷 When I made my first batch of homemade wine, I wasn't too happy with the outcome at first. But I bottled it anyhow; it was like 6 gallons, and I didn't want to dump it out after all the work. So anyhow, long story short, I can home after work one night and my wife was about as drunk as I ever saw her. It took me a moment to figure out what she was drinking, and when I tasted it, I was amazed. It was so good. It just took some time ( about 3 months) in the bottle to let it mellow and bring out it's full potential. Btw, that night we opened up another bottle. It was a night to remember. Cheers.

Leave it to Nonno and you to make excellent wine. My grandmother used to make wine. She has long passed but she would not let anyone go to the dark room where she would keep the big glass gallon containers. ❤
I have 2 small batches percolating under my kitchen table. Tomorrow I make 6 gal of Sangiovese. Smooooth! I wish I could get fresh grapes in Georgia - no way. I have to use the juice in kits. It’s ok, it’s what it is. I enjoy your videos with your grandparents. I spent a lot of time growing up with my Sicilian Great Grandparents. It is pleasant for me to remember. Now I make memories with my grandkids.
Wow so cool cherish this one. Most valuable core memory you can have. ❤❤❤❤ I’m not Italian but I sure do wish my grandparents were here. They’re dancing in the sky now.
You're so lucky to have nonno like this, i miss my grandpa and I wish to have an experience like this 😢❤ please share more recipes and experiences, i learn a lot from him ♥ ♥ ♥
Hmm, maybe rather to start with the winemakers book. I in general had alcohol hating relatives (mostly). But now I have a medium vineyard that produces 150-200L of wine annually. It's young enough, at the peak it will produce more than 300-400L.
Hi Nonno and Julian, I was totally fascinated throughout this video at the whole process of wine making, I very much enjoyed watching this video. Love Katherine xoxo
What a treasure he is! He’s just completely precious and full of knowledge. I love that you had the idea to start this channel and share them with the world… we needed to see and know Nonno and Nonna!! ❤❤

I watched the original video the other day. I'm a very novice wanna be winemaker. Nonno has me rethinking my whole entire process. Seems a lot of people nowadays make it seem way more complicated than it needs to be. Nonno is a true genuine treasure. We could learn SO much from a man such as him. You're blessed to have them in your life! Cheers from Alabama 🍷

Man... i almost cried at the tomato sauce jars. My nonno passed away in 2016 and my nonna followed him a year ago at 92, she had never been the same since we lost him. That cellar brought me back to happier times, when nonna made tomato sauce bottles with her 4 sisters and nonno made wine with his friends... i'll never forget the scent of the fermenting grapes. I miss them every single day and this brought a smile on my face, thanks. Love from Italy.

what is Nonno's recipe using pre squeezed juice? I would love to see his recipe and juice recommendations.
Did you guys just let it sit? How does it become alcohol ? Any yeast or anything in it ?
Wow i love red Moscato wine
