You must watch Liverpool fans (English Premier League Club) singing You´ll Never Walk Alone at their home ground (Anfield) in Liverpool or when they played a match in Australia in front of 95,000 fans. They are the best fans of them all!
Europe and S. America go in mainly for organised singing. In Britain we just chant and take the piss out of the opposing side, and sometimes ourselves!
Football clubs in Europe and South America were made from local clubs with the locals supporting them. Generations who live in that town/district would have supported the same club. It is an almost tribal thing - it is also why in most countries you will not see opposing supporters mixed together. The away supporters will have a separate section for their own safety. Many chants would be considered, at the very least, not PC. The fans have no problems with abusing the opposing teams players and supporters or even their own players. If you intend to attend a match in the UK then you should check some videos of UK football chants so you are prepared for what you may hear - it is often not for the faint-hearted (though to understand some you would have to understand the local culture, current events and news).
Cool, thanks for the info an heads up. When the chant that loud you can't understand what they are saying anyway. Jess says the most horrible stuff off camera, so I think we'd be alright. 😉
YEA, its awesome! So I've been watching a little bit of Copa America. The US lost to Panama Heart breaking for us. Look at me learning all this stuff 2 months ago nothing, now I'm about to hit my first MLS game in Nashville , the Euros are going on, what an awesome sport!
Thanks for a great reaction. "World's Greatest Chants: Ultras/Europe" is for you Guys. ENJOY. I am in my 8th decade in London and we, mostly, stand in our enforced Seater Stadiums. We are not there for the food, popcorn, P A System, or Cheerleaders but to roar our teams home and most of us support our local team though the bigger English Clubs have 80 Million worldwide fans like Manchester United and Liverpool. The European Championships are on NOW for a month and you see 100,000 Dutch fans take over Berlin, Germany, the Bation hosting the event. The intensity and passion are portrayed by 98% Male crowds in Brazil, Argentina, Morocco, Turkey, Greece etc...
Thank you! Yes, the Ultras video was the original one I was looking to react to. Thanks for refreshing my memory. We will do that one for sure. I love it when you guys explain the history and your involvement, it make the experience more real and enjoyable. Love ❤️ to you from the USA 🇺🇸
@@davesworldreacts Thanks. This one is preferable to a family audience as "Ultras-Way Of Life" shows passion but, also, the occasional violence. This video is just the stadium atmosphere and it is loud:) btw:The French "Call For Arms" is,also,in this video, like the one that you have just reacted to and you might have missed the fact the the "echo" is the other side of the stadium repeating the chanting, line by line:)
@Isleofskye Yea, he want to hear the rated R version! We didn't notice the echo either. It all bleeds together. Thank you for the suggestions, it really helps our channel. Ultras will be coming soon, gotta spread these vids out. I think Bog Snorkling might be next? Who knows but the Ultras was the one I was looking for, so thanks again!
Around 2:48 this is here in Denmark, a derby match between Brøndy IF and FC Copenhagen, it's the derby clash between these 2 clubs, who hate each other, THE biggest derby of 2 power houses in danish football over the last 20 years.. MANY feels BIF ( Brøndby) has the best fans, BUT as a FCK fan i wholeheartedly disagree 🙂ofc
OMG! I heard some chants that were crazier than anything said in the USA. I don't think we are at the point in our podcast that we could survive the storm on what is said doing ing a reaction. Insane!
Oh I've heard a few.! I didn't think YT would let us get away with reacting to it, even though the US is all about freedom of speech.....well not so much over the past 10 years, but people could loose their jobs in the US, just for reaching to the stuff said in some of those chants....not so free after all are we?!
@@davesworldreacts I've viewed at least a few of the more brutal English Football chants on RUclips, but I can't say whether they were monetized or not.

Yes! A fellow coworker and I were talking about that. We were trying to get the games on the TV at work, but they didn't have the channel. He's more up on it, I'm still learning, so it's been really fun to talk to someone who knows what's going on.

At least historically British Football Chants could be pretty brutal (I won't go into more detail but they can be BRUTAL).
