The song’s name and lyrics are based on the Chapter Four of the biblical book of Genesis, where the story of Cain killing Abel is told. The band also took their name from that very chapter. In the Book of Genesis, Cain, the first man and first murderer, is given a mark. God proclaims that if Cain is harmed, he shall be avenged seven times over.

Most helpful comment I ever did see. I knew about the origin of the bands name, but not what the song was about. That's very interesting how they all connect. As i said in the video, i Wish I would've done research before reacting lol. My mistake.
