This is easily the best arrangement of Stairway for celli I have yet seen. Trying to arrange the parts so that their registers are far enough apart to be heard yet still playable on the cello is hard. There are a few minor intonation issues in the slow part in the beginning, but forgivable. Leaving the guitar solo in the original key and playing it as such is insane, and the principal rocked it hard. Two thumbs way up.

I have CD like this; "The String Quartet Tribute to Led Zeppelin." They cover like 10 or 11 songs: Whole Lotta Love, Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp, Moby Dick, Immigrant Song, Stairway to Heaven. It's amazing.
@MrSad1997 I would guess that in a lot of cases, these arrangements are written specifically for these cello ensembles, either by a member or a friend/acquaintance of the members.
