just got my first diamond red deer n my first great one fallow deer … been trying to find more ways to more diamond thank u for making a video of heard management
@@murgh a lot of the tips can work at any grind, with some slight difference. Like red deer on te awaroa is the only red deer grind you can incorporate solo’s and not manage them separately!
I'm well started on my Red Deer grind by using your techniques. It's working well. I have one question: When you kill a solo stag and delete the zone, is it possible for it to respawn on an adjacent lake that didn't have any zones prior to killing this stag?
So if i understand it, you rotate your whole map shooting solos and herds and after some time or number of kills you rerun your map to check for strays
@@vezivezman7289 yes, because sometimes the respawns can bounce to nearby herds. You also do not shoot anything level 4 and under and as more respawns become level 4 and under it causes the game to make more max weight estimate respawns (7, 8 and 9)… the great one is the highest weight so this then increase the chance of a great one spawning in faster.
@@JBizHunts thx for replaying, this is the first time i see this way of grinding, really interesting. Iwill give it a try, Red deer has very tricky solos so managing them is very hard and your method seems best for the grind
@ this only works on te Awaroa since they have a small home range and you can strategically use tents and outposts to cover all their water sources to find the respawns
@ Yes, I will. I still have Black Bear, Tahr and the new ones to make. I have moose, fallow, whitetail and of course red deer as you’ve watched that one
When you fast travel to a tent 250 m away from the zone, do you run up on it which I think would spook the Red Deer. Or, do you walk up on or crawl up on the zone to shoot the Red Deer. I'm talking about where you have to put a tent in the boonies.
If i happen to miss finding 1 or two zones is there any way those deer will jump zones? I get the feeling i’m gonna miss a zone and my g1 will spawn there and i’ll never see it
1:36 I swear i have solo female zones...What happend to my herd and what do i do about that? Also I notice that the solo female zones are really close to a lone male zone, but I killed the lone male(level 4). Should I not shot the lone level 4 male?
@@mpc2846 I would have kept the level 4! They are almost as important as spawning a level 9. It is possible but not probable for a female to be a solo for red deer there are two ways: she was mistakenly hit and swapped zones with a herd zone male (that’s pretty cool) or worse case scenario you shot down her herd to just her and the game is kinda broken where if you shoot a herd down to 1 animal before the others respawn, they won’t respawn. I did this with moose grind… had 2 males with 1 female, got lucky and blasted both males… they never came back and all I was left with was a solo female cow moose. I’m making a “how animals respawn” video detailing this and other findings of my own and across the community. Should be out next Tuesday or a little later depending on the holidays
@JBizHunts Thank you for the response. I thought you should always shoot the solo males ( from what I see in scarecrows video). Take red deer, for example. Do you shoot solo males that's above level 4 ( like only keep the solo male if its low level?) Oh and by female herd I mean the herd is ALL females. Not solo female. I just start HM so I might be doing something wrong. Tbh, I might start a new save for it lol.
Hey man I watched your fallow grind video and your conspiracy video and you’ve gained a subscriber! I like your content and I find it very helpful. My question is I’m currently doing my first ever grind for GO I’m at 170 kills 3 diamonds and 5 trolls 1 piebald on my fallow grind. I followed your advice on how to do the grind and I’m getting lvl 4 respawns consistently that are 82-100kg but I haven’t been getting much lvl 5s, also what should I do for lvl 2 herd makes that averages 65-82kg males and I HMed my map and left the 65-82kg solo males alone (most are lvl 3s and lvl 2s). What can I do better to expedite my grind or any other tips on it? Am I on the right track? I feel good about it but I’m just curious on what you think? Thanks 😄
@@johnkarurosu you seem to be off to the races! If any more 2’s pop just leave then, but honestly consistent shooting 85-100kg regardless if they are level 5 will give you the best chance at getting a GO
@@JBizHuntsAWESOME! thank you very much !!!!!! @@johnkarurosuSometimes it’s playing to your strengths and just slowing it down a little bit! @@JBizHuntshey I just got some update on my fallow G1 grind and it’s going great now I have 476 kills with 17 💎, still 1 rare and 10 🧌. I got to spawn lots of 5s just by following what you told me and it turned out great I can’t wait to get my G1. My question is regarding to solos I found out that I didn’t shoot a 5 solo and after shooting it I got a consistent 5s respawns on my herd zones for every 8-10 kills. Now I’m only getting 4s again. @Kylestock-x6u I wouldn’t, because trophy rating actually doesn’t mean anything when herd managing. My great one conspiracy video explains it all. But the cliff notes are: the original game mechanics that the game is based on was that diamonds were based on weight. Weight predicts level.
