Love the pigs. Was introduced to the breed by "Blue Cactus Dairy Goats", and they are adorable. Can't wait to see what happens next. See you soon. ❤️🌵☀️⛈️🌈☮️🐎🐖
When do you add chickens? I was originally thinking goats. The pigs are so very cute. I am a true cat person. I would have 4 if the husband wasn’t allergic. d
Are the pigs for pets or for meat? If you name them they will be pets & never get to the freezer.. Put the kitties in at night or they will be coyote snacks.
The pigs are too adorable. A reality that a homestead needs working animals, the complainers about that just live near a grocery store and are in denial that the bacon on their burger was once a cute piglet too. I understand the vegan movement, but not everyone is called to that. A homestead pig lives a much more loved and satisfactory life, as compared to an industrial farm pig. Have you seen the "Cooked" mini series on Amazon Prime? It is a partner to the Michael Pollan book by the same name. Really cool series, beautifully shot. The first episode, on Fire, has an interesting pig storyline.
