Heartbreak has the distinct ability to turn your world inside out.
It impacts our ability to eat, sleep, feel.
It robs our minds of perspective and energy.
At its worst, it feels like dying.
But we’re not dying.
A broken heart never kills what’s strongest in us.
What it kills is our fear of being alone.
What it kills is our inability to connect with other people.
What it kills is our ego.
Because the truth about heartache is that more often than not, our hearts aren’t breaking at all.
They’re opening.
We are never more vulnerable than we are when we are hurting. But we are also never more honest.
More humbled.
More human.
So if your heart is broken, be patient.
And once we finally let go of whatever - whoever - it was that we were trying so desperately to hold onto, something incredible happens. We find ourselves suddenly welcoming in things we would not have expected.
We find ourselves laughing at jokes that our exes would have hated.
Reading books we would have never thought to pick up.
Calling the friends that we have fallen out of touch with.
We see the world from a different perspective when life knocks us flat on our backs. And it’s a beautiful one, if we let it be.
The thing about having a broken heart is that it leaves us with a surplus of love. And it’s up to us to work out where to put it.
We can give it to the family members we haven’t made time for in too long. We can give it to a new passion or interest. We can give it back to ourselves.
Because no heart ever shatters irreparably. Through every crack and splinter, they keep beating. They keep collecting ways to build themselves back up.
So if your heart is broken, be patient.
Listen closely to the music all around you.
Your heart is still beating.
It’s just learning a new rhythm.

@@mohammedsalman7653 Yeah I love myself and sometimes I hate myself, I have friends, family, but I have this feeling that it won't get rid off out of my mind for being too lonely, I feel like im invisible no one saw me, no one appreciate all my effort to them, they saw me as a bad, and worthless person.

Everything in this video is so true, I can say I am finally letting go of my past relationship and it feels so good to meet new people and do what I want and have a good life all by myself, it makes me feel like I actually AM a strong person and I actually CAN love myself and others and be alone and care for myself. Keep going, you will get there ♥️

Nothing but facts! Dealing with heartbreak right now, it’s been terrible. Crazy how the one you’ve given your all to, in the matter of seconds can turn around and bring you to rock bottom. Repair, rebuild and keep moving forward🙏

This is so true. Sometimes you have to realise its better to be without someone for the right reasons than with them for the wrong. Don't ever except being second best.

Since I've been done with my exe who was abusive. I've seen the world differently, noticed I can do more now. Dress how I want, not have constant anxiety, fear. Having to walk on eggshells, fear. Not having a controlling schedule to drive him where ever he needed, or said he wanted to go to. I'm not at someone beck an call. I can hang with whoever I want, do what I want . Have my passion for running,art,nerdy things without shame. I don't have to fear in gaining weight or someone yelling at me about eating to little or to much. I have days I feel utterly broken, but I have ones where I see the light my heart heal.

I remember watching this about 8 months ago and crying my heart out, I felt so small at the time so unwanted. At the time I felt as though I’d have never moved on, now it’s safe to say I’m in such a better place I’ve been so much happier and my life has been progressing so much, I just want anyone to know if you’re experiencing heartbreak and you feel as though the pain will never go away it will, and trust and believe you will be a better person not for anyone but for yourself ❤️

My ex and i broke up start of this year. I beg and plead of course, and even cry to my mother because of pain in my mind and heart that i couldn't take anymore. Its so heavy it feels like bomb in my chest that why i burst in tears. Everyday is hell that i dont want to wake up anymore. But eventually the only one will help you deeply is yourself. Pick yourself up and forgive yourself and move on. Never ever beat and blame yourself from your mistakes. We have to feel this pain so our best self will come out after this pain. I Work on myself everyday. I deleted all my social media and focus on myself. After so many months i saw myself healing gradually i can handle myself now. I am not the old me. Im still working to be the best version of myself everyday. Learn to let go of heartbreak. That will set us to freedom. Time heals, Trust the process, stay calm love yourself and Stay strong, just wait for the right one. 🙂🙏

I got my heart broken a couple of days ago, and my gf too and yes we are still together and yes everything this woman says is true and it made our relationship even stronger after all. So sad people watching this it gets better with or without them ❤️

I used to be so happy, so confident and filled with hope. I had been rebuilding my life for myself and young daughter after escaping an abusive relationship with her father. I finished my degree in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and earned a Masters Degree in Chemistry. I was working full time at an analytic lab and teaching college courses. I had not dated anyone during this time. My brother and several good friends advised me to date an old classmate. He and I were always friends and people told me he was a great guy. We dated 10 months, he told me he loved me, we spent time with each other’s families. I thought I had finally found someone I could trust and open my heart too. He broke up with me shortly after and almost immediately dating a married woman. I was devastated. This was a few years ago. I am still broken. I’ve lost all confidence and faith in myself. I rarely laugh or engage in social activities. I put on an act for my daughter, but it is too difficult. I’ve been passed over again. I have given up on having a relationship with a man. No one wants me. I will be alone soon when my daughter leaves for college. I wish I would have continued to guard my heart and never let anyone in. I’m ruined. I will never trust again. He married her and they are very happy. Everyone has abandoned me.

Word. This video is not true for everyone. My life have gone garbage after I lost my girlfriend. I have lost everything with it. My carrier, friends, family, hope, happieness, trust, life. The heartbreak have made me a wreck that hates almost everyone.

Omg Sarah. Thank you so much for this video. I needed to hear it and see it. It is helping me as I'm going through heartache. My ex boyfriend contacted me a year after ending our relationship. I felt like he was testing me to see if I would fall for him again without him making much effort. As much as I wanted to, I wasn't willing to put myself through it again and get hurt again. He's now ghosted me even at a friendship level. That really hurts. Any insights you can give me?
Find someone who appreciate you and makes things possible for you.
If your ex still the same don't give him a chance to break you again. Maybe he just missed you for one thing, but he never really appreciate everything about you.
