I have the 2019/2020 version of this remote and I love it. Better than the factory remote start a car can come with.

I need CN1- # 2 parking light (+) configure to open the trunk. please where do I put the jumper I need to program
Cool thanks for the video
Thanks for watching!
hi!, can i use it on toyota rav4 LE 2019, manual key?
Can I use this on a Polaris Ranger XP 1000?
Just had the Compustar PRO T12 Remote starter & alarm installed on my vehicle and although it's well made and a well functioning system, the LCD remote is not legible in bright daylight or direct sunlight. When contacting customer service they informed me that they had never had a complaint about this and that I should cup my hand over the remote to be able to see it better. That is just a stupid suggestion, especially if you are walking with a cane and carrying an armful of groceries. I have confirmed this problem with several other owners. For their top of the line product I would have expected better!
Im not sure which one you have but I don't have this problem with mine. Its legible in every lit environment.
You have to angle it a certain way. I know the issue you have. It is kind of frustrating
Which one of these devices can control A/C remotly ?
nissan rouge 2018
Compustar systems can be customized to control specific A/C functions, but temperature adjustment is not available for most cars. Simple set your dial before leaving the car and you'll be set. But you can activate features like rear and front defrost from the remote.
is this compatible with diesel glow plug pre-start?
Hi Chris, yes all Compustar remote starters have a timed start function that gives the vehicle a programmed number of seconds before initiating the starter, so that the glow-plugs can warm up.
can i use a battery instead of recharging it?
We have models that support battery and USB recharging ability to fit all of your needs for remote starting. That said, it's one or the other for each model.
works on bmw x3 E83 2008?
Hi Dragos, there is a vehicle-specific remote starter that supports all Compustar remotes. IT's called the CMBMXAO, and has an antenna port for all Compustar remotes and DroneMobile.
Are any susceptible to relay attacks?
Raf Thirty
Yes. But the car will not be unlocked when remote starting and will not be drivable. As soon as a pedal is touched the engine shuts off. The key must be present to drive the car.
@@Henriburger1 you obviously have no idea what he's talking about
yes it will be, you are sending a signal out, there will always be that risk with all remote starters
Jason Morehouse
In a relay attack someone picks up the signal you broadcast for later use. So if they picked up the signal of the remote starter and used it some other time then all they could do is start the car. Doors stay locked and if they break a window to get in the car cannot be driven. I’m just rephrasing so you know what I’m saying. I hope this helped.
Raf Thirty, all Compustar remotes use a combination of frequency-hopping and encryption to secure communication between our remotes and the antenna. Thus, while someone could "listen" into the commands that are being sent - simply replicating this command will not work in controlling the car, as the antenna and remotes programmatically change frequencies to avoid these types of attacks.
Who the hell needs to start their car from 3 miles away?!
Gary McPherson meeee my University parking lot is far from my dorm. So that would be good for me
An asshole that shows off
Gary, great question! Lots of people and situations.
1. Shopping at the mall
2. Working/studying at hospital/university
3. Grocery store
4. Stadium
5. Apartment building
Note: 3-miles is more of a rating than an actual real-life distance, since factors like RF interference reduce the effective range. Thus, even if you are in an office building full of metal and electronics, this remote will still communicate with your car that is parked several thousands of feet away. (Something that a factory starter could never do)
You never know 😆
