    Would help to have 2x batteries of the Same Ah and battery health. It's weak battery is bringing the good battery down to the same level.

    I was a bit skeptical about the runtime. But since I have this blower. I am 100 percent happy with it. This is due to the super fast duo charger. (yes, you need 4 batteries) And because you usually do not have to use this blower in the highest position, that is why the runtime is fine for me. my handheld stihl bg86 2 stroke leafblower is mad at me, for not using it anymore since i got the makita 😅

    You have to use 2 batteries of the same amp . If you use a 4 amp and 5 amp, the 4 amp will die of faster causing the blower to shut off

    Hey James, cool blower from Makita, it's powerful and lightweight. Try 2 fully charged 6.0Ah batteries and let me know the runtime 😉
    Good review as always mate.
    Have a great weekend!
    Cheers,
    Ben.

    Looked super powerful and like it moved some mud or wet leaves. How was the noise? Need ear muffs?

    • @OurBuild
      @OurBuild  8 лет назад +1

      +Ben Burgs Noise wasnt to bad, ear muffs not really needed.

      Yes. Use em! Still loud enough for hearing damage. (As with almost all electric tools)

    Looks like it's strong but not very long run time. Might be enough for sidewalk but not a whole yard. I expected longer run time from duel battery but I guess it goes to power. great video nice strong blower from makita #TIACREW

    I don't know why blowers drain the battery so fast? I have multiple battery machines from Makita and they all last long, from the chainsaw to brush cutters to even a mower. This is an expensive professional machine but you can't get any decent running time from it. Too bad.. Remember, he used a 4 and 5 Amp batteries, not a measly 1,5 ones. I think that the gas operated blowers will never get replaced by the battery operated. On the other hand I've already replaced gas in my small garden business for all other stuff I mentioned. Unfortunately the blower I'm using will remain my trusty gas operated Ryobi.

      i am starting a garden buisness and was thinking to buy this blower but you wrote about a Ryobi blower that was good ?

    • @vegass04
      @vegass04 5 лет назад +1

      @@citic101 Ryobi is a great machine. It's not high end like some Stihl or Husqvarna products but it serves me great for 4 years now, and it was a bargain. I recommend the Ryobi blower, you won't be sorry.

      Hi Vegass Thanks for that info about Ryobi blowers I notice they run off a single 36 v battery instead of 2 18 v I will purchase one Cheers from Australia
