Hi, welcome back. It`s great that you have such a varied collection and such a broad taste in music.
Having a broad taste in music and the arts can help inform and educate a person so as they take that open-minded attitude into how they appreciate the differences in life, people culture , etc.
I don`t know how old you are but have you ever thought about a career in music. Maybe a club or radio DJ . A music journalist, studio technician, producer. Anything music related ?
Just one thing you mentioned about Tubular Bells. You said it`s an electronic album. It features electronic guitars but it doesn`t feature synths or drum machines. It`s all played live. There is actually a video recorded in the 1970`s up on RUclips of Mike Oldfield and other musicians playing the whole of side one live and it is amazing, really beautiful , almost magical sounding. Jean Michel Jarre released his classic album Oxygene around the same time as Tubular Bells and Jarres album truly is 100% electronic.
When i was a kid i used to collect the first wave of U.S Hip - Hop, Rap 12" singles. Back then my favourite Rap artist was Public Enemy because they had a really layered sound to their production and some of their lyrics were more intelligent than a lot of other Rap artists at the time singing cliche nonsense about bitches and gold chains.
One of my favourite rap tracks is the Message by Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five. The lyrics on that track are very intelligent.
Another Rap track i love is I Against I by Mos Def - Massive Attack. That`s a unique sounding Electro - Rap track.
World Destruction by Afrika Bambaataa and John Lydon is another unique rap inspired track that features excellent lyrics. A one off classic.
If you like synth pop try and check out one of the original synth artists SOFT CELL. I don`t know if i mentioned them before to you but their tracks Bedsitter , Numbers , Torch, Say Hello Wave Goodbye, Memorabillia, are some of the best original synth tunes to come out in the early 80`s.
Happy collecting and good luck with your future.
    Thanks from England.

Wow first of all thank you so much for watcjing and leaving such a cool and sweet comment!
I agree, keeping an open mind towards all kind of art translates to real life aswell! :)
Also it is kind of my dream to do somethifn with music but it's hard to know what! I'd love to be a music journalist or DJ or producer but I'd have to learn those crafts 😅
Also i never knew that about tubular bells, that honestly makes it incredibly impressive in its own way wow. Thank you for informing me of my mistake I always thought it was electronic 😮
Also I really like public enemy! In early 2023 i listened to It takes a nation of millions to hold us back for the first time and i loved it so much!!
I will definitely listen to the other tracks you mentioned!
I have heard a lot of good things about soft cell and they're on my list of things i want to check out!! I know the famous "tainted love" bur haven't dived any further into their catalogue yet, will definitely listen to the songs you mentioned!!!

It's so much fun to watch you talk about music and records and I really love your collection and your enthusiasm! Your taste in music seems quite diverse.
Ha! I chuckled when I saw that Mamas and Papas record. I did not expect to see that in your collection. You know how that cover got censored and the originals had a toilet? Those uncensored covers with toilets are collectors items nowadays and cost like $300.
I really love Tubular Bells. I think it's very underrated. And it made Sir Richard Branson a billionaire (or at least it started him off on that path).
Love Plantasia, too! So happy you got a copy. It's not the best album in the world but it's certainly unusual and the story behind it is what makes it super interesting.
Thanks again for a fun video. Can't wait for the next one and keep collecting!

I'm new to your channel, and I'm absolutely impressed with your collection! I think we've got similar tastes and I also own a few of those albums you highlighted like the Little Simz one, Magdalena Bay and Hounds Of Love... I also have the previous Little Simz album called "Grey Area" just in case you haven't listened to it... It's not as lushly produced, or as grand, but the songs are just as great... The songs on Grey Area are probably punchier and heavier, and stand on their own, while the ones on SIMBI sound better in the context of the album as its SUCH an album experience. You just have to listen through it all ❤ btw thank you for all the recommendations, some artists I had never even heard of in there. I was introduced to Mezzoforte a few years ago with a song from 1983, I believe, and it was a pretty lovely instrumental, so I'm glad to see you have an album!

What a crazy eclectic collection, from Mort Garson to Little Simz! Kinda makes me want one of my own :)
If you like weird electronic music maybe you’d like Solex, she’s a Dutch artist who made these sample-based songs that are incredibly percussive and melodic at the same time, she kinda sounds like a bluesier Beck. Her 3 albums Pick Up, Low Kick Hard Bop & Laughing Stock of Indie Rock are all great and underappreciated.

Of course Kid Creole is good, great music, great musicians, fun music, party music, good melodies. If you love Loveless that much, you should try Seefeel's Quique, the natural continuation of My Bloody Valentine. BTW, Smashing Pumpkins have little to do with it, and that sound started with Spacemen 3 and Jeses & Mary Chain. Cheers

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band is a country rock band that combined a lot of different styles. Mr Bojangles was the hit song off that one you have. They also did a 3 record set collaboration with old school bluegrass artists and an album called Dream (or Symphonian Dream) that is kind of underrated.

Cool video! Sometimes i might be introvert is a really good album. Saw little simz live at north sea jazz was a pretty good performance. Have seen a lot of hiphop artists and some funk and jazz artists at north sea jazz, rolling loud and some shows. If you like little simz imo on her newest album no thank you the lyricism is even better. Production a bit less but lyricsm makes up for it.
