i think the messages of this bl are love and hope. day already showed us he could live blind. and that's fine. it is also fine that he gets this operations, nothing illogical about that since blind people do sometimes get eye operations. his character is rich, he can afford it to begin with. him regaining his eyesight doesn't really invalidate their experiences together, especially his acceptance of his blindness, prior to the donation. and by the way, i have never met a blind person not wanting to be able to see. even if there is, why can't day hope to see again.

I agree with Brian and he will always have the experience of what he went through so the message won’t get lost…..The show is more about character development in general and the eyesight is a part of that. In any case, I have complete faith in P’Aof. I can’t even imagine you guys watching “Playboyy” because they do everything on the screen that you’re always doing with innuendos in this series.
watching Playboyy is...interesting to say the least. Also yes I'm fine with whatever ending we will get because I love P'Aof's work but since the whole show was kinda about Day having a bucket list and that "Last Twilight" I thought it would take that message away, you know? But I would be very happy for him! -Elise

Actually it's difficult for me to rewatch episode 10 because half of the episode (with Mom and Night) is just full of pain.

I feel like Day in some way don't want his eyesight back, at least that's what I got out of EP9.. I think it's more the idea of a surgery making everything better, and because I feel like that's been the only thing his mom has talked about since day one.. So ofc he's excited.. I just don't know if a 1% chance should be enough for him to risk not being set back with it failing.. I hope you know what I mean..
I don't think there's anyone out there that doesn't want Day to get his vision back.. But my question will he be happier, especially after the journey he had.. I feel like it will fit well for the mom because then she can just go back to how everything was.. She has not for 1 sec tried to adabt to the situation and ask her son what he wants.. If the surgery fails I need Day and Night to confront the mom, because I don't think her mind will ever change.. I need a Heart and Li Ming confrontation with Hearts parents, because at least that made Heart's mom realize that she/they need too do better 😊
i think one of the biggest things i disagree with brian on is him saying about visually impaired people being “robbed of their happy ending” if he’s still visually impaired. The idea is that it’s STILL a happy ending without his vision.
yes but if its something that can be fixed, like here, it would be a happier ending if it was fixed, i think thats what Brian meant! -Elise

Hey! We all watched the MV on our own already because we were waiting for ages for that song to come out. We might do behind the scenes some day when we have time! -Elise
Someone came for me in comments of another reactor. I expressed some disappointment about Day getting his sight back related to the narrative of the series. Exactly like Brian said it waters down the message of the show. This person took that as I basically wished all blind people in r/l not to get their vision back. That I was some sort of monster for suggesting that it would be better for the story(fiction) if he remains visually impaired. I was very glad that you see where I’m coming from in your reaction.
It kind of ticked me off that they went into fantasyland territory with Day getting basically(1%) a Christmas Day miracle. If they choose to keep this show realistic then the corneal transplant may not be a success. From what I have read if a patient has lost the ability to perceive light then a corneal transplant will not restore vision. Even though the cornea is new other structures in the eye may be impaired such as retinal atrophy and optic nerve damage. Anyway have to see where they go with this next episode. Just really hope they don’t go with a Day’s fixed all is happy ending.
Yes thats what we were discussing for ages in the end! I wish him his sight back but it would be better writing otherwise in my opinion. -Elise

Yes but they said the chances of it working are pretty low, didnt they? and so are the chances of getting a transplant. -Elise

I'm not a fan of the mother but you are too harsh. I understand though as you are not a parent. Put yourself in her place first.
I do think she has good intentions but i dont like that she treats Day like that and even tales his phone away. -Elise
I understand the mom, and i did say it multiple times. I get her but that doesnt make me ok with her actions and the way she is reacting.

I don't like the mom, she's only a little bit better compare to Dissaya(bad buddy). They both mean well but they don't prioritize their children over their own agenda. Thye are both horrible mothers
I think the brothers should move out and leave their mom. they can maitain a distant relationship, but they should leave her influence
I think its a big difference between Bad Buddy and here. I know she messed up big time and treated Day like a child but he's her youngest son and that accident and all that followed was probably a whole family trauma. In here, I can see where she is coming from even though I dont like how she is behaving. In Bad Buddy, I was like ???? when it came to the parents🤧. But we were raging a lot about her too. I do think shes pretty redeemable! -Elise
