I don't have a mic aswell, mainly because I just recently started playing DayZ again and did not need a mic before that. It surely adds another layer of experience into the game, when you have a mic and saves you from a lot of deaths haha

You will get good when you play enough. Keep used to dying. Dont get attached to your loot, dont keep to much shit. Stay light. Also IZurvive helps (its a app for phone or website for computer with map that shows all spots) if you are stuggeling to survive try to talk to people. Yeah you might get shot or meet weird people, but eventually you will meet someone friendly to have a adventure with and then you die/lose eachother and you never see them again. Its the magic that everything can happen so quick... For pvp practice join a pvp/deathmatch server or play very agressive with every gun you find in spawn towns... Try to snipe infected or hunt animails and you will get better. Just practice. I have been that random player who just got ontop a high building and just shot at zombies wasting all my ammo haha or just go in a town gun blazing. You will die but thats all part of the fun

i’m very new to Dayz. got the farthest i’ve ever gotten and had more gear than i’ve ever had (a couple guns with very little ammo and i wasn’t starving for once). Tried looting military checkpoint and managed to kill all of the zombies just for a completely kitted out dude with an AUG one shot me in the head after saying he was friendly. took me like 8 hours to get all that just for him to maybe take a couple rounds of ammo and leave my body and gear for nothing. Making it hard to get into the game cause i like to be friendly

I've had both and I don't understand why people recommend that overpriced trash.
as far as the mic thing goes, most of the time i dont use my headset and play through my speakers. and even when i have my headset on half the time i dont talk to strangers unless they are cool.

For me it's a toss up, rust/dayz, but both games are seeing an influx of "kids" N they won't play on night! They will log off, there scared of adversity. Or simply like it is, there are no quality servers that have night! It made this game original an amazing! i once played in official servers and i was pretty geared even though i had no sense of direction of the map like i had a UMP with a maganize and a lot of bullets for it, a BK-12 with some shells, and a colt with a few bullets, it didnt have a maganize though

Except that doesnt happen you kept getting sick because your immune stat was low so everytime you got better your immune stat was still low so youd get sick again. If you would have taken a few multi vitamins after the sickness went away for a sec you would stay healthy. Skill issue
This seems completely unrealistic that you would find cereal boxes, a hook, and a cutting tool right off spawn. You're obviously playing on extremely low pop servers. Probably why you're comfortable cracking a glow stick and fishing off a bridge. 2/10.
