I was grand prize winner on the dirt bike channel sweepstakes last night. I picked the 300 xc-w hard enduro. I'm still in shock LOL. I can't wait to get out in the woods on it. The black seat on yours does look sharp, I like it.
Oh wow man congratulations!! That’s incredible!! Such a cool bike for sure! Really like the black seat. Enjoy your new bike!! 😁👍😁👍
I am so f'ing jealous! Congrats!!!
I got mine a few weeks ago and I am loving it so far. Just having it ready to rip with everything on it already setup was nice. Picked it up from the dealer and took it straight up north and hit the trails. Bike looks awesome and rides great.
Very cool! Congratulations on the new bike!
🎉Mine finally came in.🎉 Picking it up Thursday. $13,349 out the door after licensing etc. Sold my 2023 300XC-W ( I rode for a bit over 300 miles) for what I paid new not including all of the protection I added to it. For me, these are so worth it. I make really good money when I'm working and just the labor time to put on or swap out all the parts to build a bike like this would cost me a lot more. I'd also rather spend my time riding. I gotta ask them about the black seat swap. Wondering if I can get them to do that for me in the next few days.
Very cool and congrats on the new bike coming in! I purchased the black seat separately. Let us know how you get along with your new bike. 😁👍
@@FunVenturesBTR Will do. I'll probably create another walk-around vid to bring more awareness to the bike. I also have a new patent pending prototype coming out that I plan to use the bike for some demo reals for as well.🤘🏻👍🏻👊🏻🤙🏻
Where did you get that price? $14,584 out the door in Michigan
FYI, I was able to have them swap the orange seat for the black when I picked up. In person, IMO, it looks way better. 👍🏻
@@timpmcfadden That's what the rest of us pay, not sure how he got that discount?
Can you adjust the clutch/break levers inside/outside? It seems that now are stuck with the handguards so they can't be moved.
Grabbed mine today. Excited for tomorrow! How do I get that black seat?
Before I bought the HardEnduro version I made a simulation on the website with all the powerparts that I needed and for the same amount of money with this trim I got extra the upgraded wheels and the tripleclamps. Not to mention the different decals. Only thing that I added was a radiator guard from X-trig since the plasticky one doesn't protect at all of lateral impact and maybe I ll put a cnc clamp for the resonator in the future and that's it. So yeah , even it's kind of a steep price for a dirtbike is the best buy you ll get for a new tbi. Ofc one can get a basic model and put only aftermarket bits and pieces on it, but that is even more expensive.
They do look awesome in person and I think it is worth it. I chose the generic model though because it would have been painful to watch that bike get all beat to crap. I worry less about beating my regular one to a pulp. I would want to just put it in a glass case in the shop and admire it.
Bahaha… true! Great comment! 😂👍
Yeah, I'm drooling a little lookin at that 2024. I just bought my first real woods bike. A 2009, 300 XC-W. Got it all set up for me. Only took it on a few real short rips. It's healthy, and it seems like Dr. Jeckel and Mr. Hyde. Calm at low Rev then psyco fast when The power band kicks in. I think I'm in love. 😅
yes. definitely worth it. and good call on the black seat.
I was going to get a 24 350 exc-f but after reviewing this video I think I could install a dual sport kit on a 300 hard enduro to connect the trails in Colorado and the Ozarks.
It could be a great bike for that if there’s not much road riding. I don’t love 300’s on the road. I’ve ridden the new exc 350’s and they’re pretty choked up in my opinion. Gotta love the 300’s though for your type of riding! 👍
They are nice, love the orange frame.
Its a nice bike not crazy about graphics. I've got a 23 Factory 350 XC. Agree with you on the orange seat. Swapped mine for a black one. I would prefer a Sherco for hard enduro but can beat KTM dealer and parts network.
You forgot to mention it now has the closed cartridge forks, revised rear shock, an led headlight bulb, and the orange frame is SE specific. Otherwise, they're black. The frame guards are just like the acerbis ones. Standard xcws dont come with a map switch and this one does.
The literal only things i think could've been better is the skidplate. And stator wire protection.
Otherwise great video👍i love mine.
I opted to get an alloy fin front rotor guard. That front rotor guard was a headache to deal with trying to pull the fork leg covers.
Got a low black seat concepts with orange stitching coming for mine to replace the orange seat. Good to see the black seat looks awesome.
The black seat is so much better! Congrats on the new bike! 👍
I cut out the foam on my 23' XCW and it lowered the stand over like 1.5-2 inches! It's black so looks good. Something to consider.
If it just didn't have the oil pumps for 2 stroke oil. We like to mix it on our own and have less parts overall.
I think it's worth it, especially if you can negotiate on price a bit up front.
Wich cylinder is on it, Kimco or Elco?
Worth it to me. Love mine.
Great video!!! 👌 Im thinking of buying the new 24 model, but i cant decide between 300 and 350 for enduro... Rocky stuff!!! a lot 😅
Thanks! If you like the really rocky terrain the 300 is the way to go! We really like the gnarly terrain and 4 strokes just don’t handle the gnar like the 2 strokes do in my opinion. Get some! 👊🏼
i would never get a 350F for off road riding unless its open and fast.
Great vid. I’m looking to purchase the 2024 and am concerned about the fuel pick up position. Number of other channels reference bike runs out of fuel with half a tank left. Be good to get your thoughts on this, cheers
Thanks! I can assure you that I’ve never run out of fuel. The 24’s do seem to run out faster, but I have run almost to empty (just over one inch left in the tank) at 55 miles. When the gas light comes on you can tip the bike side to side or do a wheelie. This sloshes the gas back to the pickup point. I have done this several times now. Works great! The 24’s are incredible bikes for sure. Hope that helps! 👍
@@FunVenturesBTR yes it does, thanks
Maybe you can review the 2024 Husqvarna TE 300 Pro?
We sure can! Can’t wait! 👍👍
My husband and I just bought a pair of these. Love em!!😊
Very cool! Congratulations!! 😁👍👍
@FunVenturesBTR thank you , and we're enjoying your vids. I can tell you love riding so much and we do ad well.
@@foxtailadventures thank you for watching and saying hi! Yes, such a fun sport! 😁👍
So good!!! Looks worth it to me!
Gotta love those XC-W’s! Let’s ride! 😁👍
Totally awesome….wish I had the skills
Thanks! 👍
Gotta love the Orange frame too
Seems people love it or hate it! I like it for sure 👊🏼
That’s because you’re the man!
@@DezertSlayer thanks bro! Right back at ya! 😁
Does the Hard enduro have better suspension?
The hard choice is getting this one of the TE300 pro.
Worth every penny. Love mine!!
Great bikes! 😁👍
Yeah baby! Let me at it. I’ll break it in proper for you 😁
Yeah buddy! 😂👍👍
So nice I wouldn’t want to scratch it😂😊
Where can you get the black seat??
At the dealership where I purchased the bike. Link in the description. 👍
All your really getting for an extra $1,600 is a fan, front and rear disc guards, map switch, wrap around hand guards, seat cover, pull straps and a bunch of bling that will get trashed if you actually ride the thing. Around here a used premium model like this only brings a few hundred more than the regular model. Hardly worth it in my mind unless you spend more time looking at your bike than riding it.
You’re forgetting the wheels and tripple clamps. Buying those wheels, hubs, rear sprocket and tripple clamps will cost a pretty penny. Here they sell for more than a few hundred more than the standard model. Some people really like them. They’re not for everyone though. We like to look at them and ride them 😁👍
@@FunVenturesBTR Buy those separate and you get to keep the originals to use a spares or sell.
No pipe guard, no lug guard, no radiator guard, plastic front rotor guard. Thats a fire road bike, not a hard enduro bike. Looks badass though!
Yep
Are all the graphics molded into the plastics?
The are 👍
@@FunVenturesBTR Your video has convinced me to buy a 300 hard enduro. Hope
To get it next week. Will take it to Rampart next summer when I am in CO.
@@offroadtrailrider77 pretty incredible bike for sure! Let us know if you’d like someone to ride with when you come out. We usually ride a couple days a week 👍
If they could include a kick starter it would be even better:))))!!
So true!
Hey I’m coming from riding super bikes, I rode the first time in Bali on a pro trail… it was intense 😅… but rode on the yz250. Was heaps of fun. So I’m looking at purchasing this now. Is it smart just jumping into a 300? I’m 33 years old, 6”1. Mate said to get something smaller
the 300 can actually suit slower riding because the bigger bore has a touch more torque. but even that makes little difference because injected bikes have more torque down low than carb bikes anyway. so the only downside to having a 300 is the rotating mass, which makes it change directions slower and makes it feel heavier than it is. it's really something you get used to either way, and it wont feel that much different in that regard to the YZ, but it all just depends on if your doing faster or slower speed riding. faster riding needs faster direction changes and more top end.
may sound backwards but if going slower speeds, i dont think the 300 presents any drawbacks. also if your that tall you may weigh enough to get benefit out of the 300. all to say... go for the 300 if you like it, but consider the EX-W over the XC, as it will be way easier to ride as a beginner on the dirt. more torque. not as pipey. i'm just saying that while he is right that smaller is likely better... if your riding tighter trails and weigh over 180 then its pretty much a wash (250 or 300).
if you happen to be really light and ride a big variety of stuff at all speeds with no big hills... consider a 150 TPi or TBi model. very easy and fun to ride and has the power of the older 200's. it's nearly always more fun starting out on something light with less power. allows time to hone skills to be ready for more weight and power. if you move up from that quick it will sell easy as they are so good.
personally i always thought the 300 was my dream bike for off road. but when i first rode one i was underwhelmed (rode 250 MX bikes most my days). plus tech has come so far that the 250 feels just as powerful and handles better. with less hills and faster riding the 250 is just more fun. not sure i'm helping much here or just complicating it. bottom line is you cant go wrong with any sized WC-W.
@@yukonjon5964 thank you so much for that reply man. I think I’m going to go for the 250SX since I’m only riding MX tracks. Where I am in Adelaide Australia, you’d think you can freely do trail riding. But the Goverment is strict and won’t allow it. Pretty crazy. Just a state over in Victoria, you can ride your heart out. But I’m here for work for a while.
I’ll be getting the new 2024 KTM 250SX. I really am looking forward to it. Just trying to do research on maintenance and proper care. Heard mixed stuff about engines blowing up lol. But yeah, I guess with all these things, there are pros and cons.
Thank you 🙏
@@MrHardbodies oh sweet! good choice. makes sense. yep mixing it up to get a variety helps. don't get as bored with it. go with where you can ride for sure.
yeah i like both styles. to me off-road is more about the cool places a bike can take me, where MX is more about the detail of honing skills and making the lap times lower.
can't help ya with the newest TBi stuff. maybe with the range of temps you see there, running a water absorb bag in the tank could help reliability. some guys swear they prevent all sorts of drama's. have fun mate!
@@yukonjon5964 I never thought of doing that! I’ll look into that. Any suggestions would be welcome. You’ve helped already tremendously
@@MrHardbodies thanks. btw... from my experience, what we hope the 300 cc bikes will feel like, is really kept in the older big-bore history of the 360 and 380 KTM's. oh my now that was amazing. hard to start, yes, but so much torque. they were like a tractor, yet still revved-up and went. i keep wishing KTM would bring them back but with e-start. to me the 500 MX bikes were too much too handle off road, but the 380 was perfect. i guess they just didn't sell enough of them. one with TBi would really pull. dreams are free right?!
Worth it for me. The wheel upgrade alone is worth a good amount
I think so as well. I forgot to mention that it comes with a map switch that the standard model does not come with. That’s nearly $200.
@@FunVenturesBTR mine is supposed to arrive in a few weeks. I can’t wait
@@otxilac11 awesome! 👊🏼
Damn! Havent thought about the wheels until im starting to stop sign the stock ones now. Doing the special edition makes sense for the next bike in a few years. 😅
Is this bike street legal? I don’t see a plate holder
It’s not street legal.
I think it's worth it but I just can't afford that much. I'm riding a 89CR250R 😂
That’s a great bike! 👍👍
@@FunVenturesBTR Thanks I absolutely love the bike.
I just wouldn't mind Having something.
On the new side.
It would be awesome to ride with you sometime. I'm nowhere near as good as you.
But I think it would still be A good time.
@@zachfarkash6430 come on out! 👍
@@zachfarkash6430 where are you located?
not seeing $1600 tbh....maybe an $500-800 upcharge....beta is $500 more and you get suspension, dont forget its really nothing for them to throw this stuff on the bike and most of it is just looks.....dont get me wrong, it does look pretty sick!
I would try to get a deal on one and if they wouldnt budge just get a standard one....thats my take on it
I liked the orange seat better when I looked at that bike. The $1600 is worth it, you can get the money back when you sell it. Overall it's a gimmick bike with the anodize stuff and the graphics are not my cup of tea. Overall the bike looks much better in person and yes, worth the money. I beat the crap out of bikes and that's why I buy them, to use them very roughly, so I don't need a pig with lipstick.
Dont care for the graphics and would hate to cover them up.
We usually take them off and put aftermarket plastics and graphics on. Then put the stock ones back on when we sell the bike 🤷🏻♂️. Check out our te300 pro video with custom graphics. 👍
I love these ktm ,,my xr runs best on ktm tears.
Bahaha 🤣. You wish! 🤣👍
My Rieju 300 loves KTM tears.
Definitely worth the extra scratch but the whole thing all together not so much
It's all about how bad you got to have it and how thick your wallet is. I say Yes.
Yes. It is worth the price tag.
