SO excited to finally share tips from my home country after yapping about Europe for the past few years hahah. Let me know if you have any more questions, and as usual you can find the written version here: happytowander.com/canada-travel-tips/
In addition to the pertinent and important information you typically provide on these videos, what i appreciated the most here, was how HONEST you were about visiting Canada, especially as a citizen. Not many people would do that. Huge Kudos to you for that. 🎉🎉
I feel like an absolute traitor for saying this because I’m from BC, but I actually don’t love Nanaimo bars! 🙈 I feel like the custard always oozes out and makes a mess when I take a bite. Do you have a favourite place to get them? Maybe I’ll have to give them a proper try sometime
@@HappytoWanderTreason! I’m based in Toronto, so you might not get there soon, but Brick Street Bakery is my favourite spot to get them here. Besides the ones my mum makes of course 😜
As a fellow Canadian, I am impressed by how thorough your information is. Your assessments of our airlines, rail travel, Tim Horton's, languages, food and bears are very accurate.
Timmy's :) I lived in Canada as a child and this video makes me realise how out of date I am, and how much things have changed, eg 'good public transport in all major cities'! amazing.
I had such a great time in Montreal! Can't wait to go back. I definitely want to visit Quebec and Toronto as well. OMG the eats of Toronto look amazing! I love checking out chinatowns and Toronto's looks very promising!
Hi! I will be visiting Canada. Aside from tourist visa, is there an online immigration form that is required before entering Canada? Or any other forms online that needs to be filled up beforehand? Thanks in advance for your reply!
Depends on where you are from and how old you are - Canada actually has a youth mobility visa agreement with over 30 countries where you can secure a working holiday visa pretty easily if you’re under 35! But reading between the lines, I think you may be American haha. Sadly there’s no such visa for Americans so you would have to look into traditional methods like securing a job offer, enrolling in school or marrying a Canadian 😂🇨🇦

Another Canadian treat to try is Nanaimo bars! My favourite dessert 😋

Perfect timing! Thanks for the video
Yay! I would love to visit here as an American. I'm about 4 hours from Windsor.

Timely. Any idea how to stay there for a couple of years? 😂
