Its called ESG- big investors like Blackrock force these themes into shows or else they pull funding. They do this with DEI hiring in corporations as well.

When he debuted 7up episode it was cool great continuation which he didn't need to continue, but it was a new beginning.
When he finished "Irate Movie" season, it was a conclusion: glorious.
Too many of the MCU movies felt like commercials for other ones. DC had a lot of watchable movies but the introduction of JG has basically made it MCU silly. No point in having two of the same and it seems like this sort of thing has been waning for a long time. Did we really need all those superhero movies during the 2010s? I wish they had of handled it more like Fox movies or more standalone ones like in the 2000s. Hopefully with traditional blockbusters having success recently like Avatar and Top Gun Maverick can we get a bit more variety at the box office.

Wanted to leave my comment stating how entertaining yoir channel is. Ive been a subscriber since you premiered. (My main acount Not with this account as this was created for streaming etc)
I thought the movie was pretty good. Oh, and the kid??? He's supposed to get powers from Black Adam too so later he becomes a superhero. But, that got canned because of James Gunn restarting the Universe.
What happened? I wanna see more Irate Gamer episodes. Also, are we ever gonna get to see you appear on AVGN like how he appeared on your IG Vs. AVGN crossover? I'd like to see both you and James do more collabs like that together in the future.
TLOU zombies make much more sense in the game. The zombies are created by cordyceps, which are a REAL fungus that infect the brains of ants, change their behavior, and grow stems out of their heads. The real life zombie mushrooms cannot infect humans (yet).

Yes Chris, I agree with your point that they always have to crowbar in political topics in these large budget movies and tv shows. When it’s not necessary to the story at all and sticks out like a sore thumb. I remember when walking dead started introducing gay characters too. Same reason I haven’t played last of us 2, it just turns me off that content.

Not a fan of LOU, the cinematic experience released on console or this "adaptation". There is definitely an agenda with those movie "game" IPs.
TLOU2 is TLOU in name and setting only, and it's a shame that TLOU is retroactively catching flack because of how atrocious it's follow-ups were. TLOU is a fine game that's fully self-contained and needed no DLC, no "remaster", no follow-up catastrophe of a sequel, and no live action adaptation.
@@anonymous2805 No. The original was a bad game and so was the remake and constant re-releases. It was movie cinematic malarkey and not qualified to be considered a video game, let alone anything that would be considered a good one. Gameplay is everything. If you fail at this basic function and you push a weak narrative only, then people are going to criticize your astroturfed game. Which is what happened with LOU at launch but people are forgetting due to the astroturfed praised it received for console war buffonery.. Its typical Sony movie cinematic malarkey. Sony made better games back in the day on PS1/2.
@@spencerwilliams461 Ask me how I can tell you haven't played TLOU1. The gunplay is good, the melee combat is snappy and satisfying, the resource management was implemented in a way that makes you value and ration-out the tools you had on hand and the scarcity and spaced-out workbenches made it so that it wasn't a constant cycle of mindlessly grinding for junk and upgrading, the multiplayer was fun from what I got to play back in the day. It's not some world-class masterwork but it's a good game. Saying TLOU1's gameplay is bad solely on the merit that it has long cutscenes is like saying the same about the Metal Gear games, which is absurd. Metal Gear's 9+ hours of cutscenes per game don't detract from how good of an overall game experience the games themselves are.
@@anonymous2805 No you are wrong. The combat was bleh, the gameplay was an afterthought. Its below mediocre, its bad. A lot of Metal Gear games are bad too. Some MG games are ok at best but its an overrated series. But not as much as LOU. LOU hasn't even had a good game. Nobody talkings about LOU's gameplay because everybody knows its sh*t, including the bland multiplayer. Just stop bro. Lol.
