@@treegt1148 battlefield 2042 won't be nominated for goty. Pretty sure It's releasing after the cutoff date for the 2021 awards anyways. Any reason why you're against it winning? It's not even out yet.
Thanks for helping me to choose my next games bro. You are spot on with your commentary.
The Forgotten City is AMAZING. I just started yesterday and it has me SO intrigued. I HIGHLY recommend it.
yes!!!!
Lmfao…. Looks like you guys jumped every single gun on that GTA Definitive Edition huh?
11:05 Just Cause 3 was my favourite videogame ever, and Far Cry 6 was the first game to give me that perfect Just Cause 3 vibe. Honestly it feels more Just Cause than Just Cause 4 and for that reason Far Cry 6 may end up being my favourite game of 2021/2022
the introductory sentence knocked me out😂😂😂😂😂
Love that Guardians got some love. I have never been more pleased by a game based on my expectations. Dani Rojas, football is life.
Chernobylite is awesome. Definitely get some stalker vibes and the photo realistic graphics are impressive. Love supporting Indie developers.
I was hoping it was going to have similar difficulty as a stalker game. It's the only thing I didn't like about the game. It was too easy even on the hardest difficulty.
@@duckdanger2403 yeah I feel the same way. Definitely looking forward to Stalker 2 next year.
People are sleeping on Metroid Dread, it's one of the coolest game this year!
Love your enthusiasm and the colorfull language. keep it on!
How is Nier Replicant NOT in this list?
Ikr!
Because its Nier Replicant. Anime style crap
Interested in almost all of these games on this list. Great list!
Personally ive been having a killer time playing biomutant. It was on sale for 30$ on the xbox store so i grabbed it and I'm so glad i did. So many places to explore its almost overwhelming in the best possible way.
Word same, I love that game and how creative it can get.
Man it’s a good job Jake clarifies that the GTA trilogy hadn’t come out by the point of this video as rewatching it in 2022 you realise how laughable it’s inclusion on the list would have been with the state it was in!
Glad you put GOTG on this list. I bought the game when I got my PS5 a few days ago. It's a really good game. Yeah there's a bit of some slow moments but all in all I really enjoy it.
No mention of Biomutant? :)
I agree, Ender Lilies is awesome. So are Grime and Fearmonium, if you're talking indie metroidvanias.
Loved Biomutant
I honestly don't think I have bought a single new game in like 3 years. I usually wait for things to go on sale because most games aren't worth the price anymore.
Yeah me too. I waited nearly 3 years before buying RDR2 and even now the price is pretty high for me... but eh, it's worth the price and more
Yeah it's very rare for a good single player game to come out and most games are remasters.
Lost judgement was amazing, it was my first time pkaying a game like that, I couldnt get enough of it
The GTA suggestion hasn't aged well 😂solid list otherwise though!
Metro Exodus Enhanced for Ps5 is a really good single player experience. Immersive af.
Fans have been "remastering" gta games for years now. Rockstar just took some of those free modes and put a price tag on them 😀
graphic mods that caused glitches and crashes, not to mention its updated controls as well. Also it’s targeted for console players who’ve never had mods before so let’s not be so close minded
The amount of effort and time behind making this video is so admirable! Just wow
3:34 "Returnal is a run-based game"
also known as a rogue-like
Hey guys, I am a long time sub and frequent watcher of your videos and I love you guys! I one request if you can consider it.. the transition countdown animations you guys use.. it’s REALLY bright and the noise gets old. Can you guys take a vote and see if it’s possible to tone it down or change to a darker theme? I watch your videos at night so in a dark room it’s literally blinding. The rest of the audience can use this comment to agree or disagree
really enjoying Age of Empires IV at the moment but can't wait for forza horizons 5 and halo infinite to release
Just released there all gamepass well in xbox .
@@iHaveTheDocuments not sure , think if u have xbox cloud streaming then you can play any xbox game but that might only be a series x and s feature. Not to sure I play on xbox and pc .
I got mad respect for you guys, it cant always be easy to put out videos everyday.
Maybe Ghost of Tsushima, when it hits PC, might be something for me. Looks like i can save a bunch of cash this year too though.
So many great games on this list and only a generic Ubisoft style game caught your attention? Oof.
Ghost of Tsushima is not made by Ubisoft. It is made by Sucker Punch and it is awesome.
@@donoliver9637 no shit Sherlock. What I'm saying is an Ubisoft style game and if you think it's awesome, you're a confirmed casual. Ppl like you is why we get all these generic open world games SMH
@@caos024 your comment made no sense and had no place in the conversation whatsoever. Don't get mad when people correct your idiotic statements.
And as far as me being a casual, at least I know who made Ghost of Tsushima.
2021 was a pretty solid year for video games.
We got Quake, I'm pretty much sorted now.
Watchdogs Legion is absolutely Ace. Im loving future London so much.
Yo, that's my top game right now! So much fun.
Man I love RE village. Personally my fav game of the year.
Yep, its mine too. Only disappointment is no vr
@@jamespaul6315 perhaps in the future. If RE 4 can get one I think village can too
Tales Of Arise is in my top 3 games of all time, I loved it!
Lost in Random is a game more people have to check out, it’s just so unique with a great art style and fun gameplay. My personal favorite game released this year!
This video Took alot of work. I appreciate every bit of your efforts. I will definitely be downloading a good amount of the games on my PC!
showcasing that everything good has been delayed to 2022 and beyond
Tormented Souls deserves more love. A great return to survival horror
