Visitors policy:
The visiting hours permitted in our hospital
Visitors who have experienced fever, cough, sore throat, vomiting should be discouraged from visiting the hospital.
Visitors should maintain 'No Smoking' policy.
Children under 12 years of age are not allowed to visit patients at any time.
Visitors should limit the number of visitors in patient's room at a given time.
Visitors should not sit on patient beds.
Visitors must maintain a quiet environment and avoid unnecessary noise.
Flowers are strictly not allowed in the hospital.
There is strict policy for change of footwear in the ICU.
Visitors are discouraged from entering isolation rooms of patients in airborne and droplet isolation.
All visitors who are involved in caring of patients should be educated on standard precaution, use of PPE and hand hygiene. This applies to activities such as bathing or which include toileting.
Patients and family member/guardian must be counselled and given emotional support.
In outbreak situations unnecessary visits should be discouraged. Those who choose to visit should wash their hands as they enter and leave the area and comply with all other hygiene practices
