You have a phenomenal model railroad that I am so intrigued with. I would love to be there to watch trains run around your layout, changing the block signals, operating the railroad crossing signals and gates. Just a fantastic and realistic model railroad and so enjoyable to watch. Thank you so much for sharing this video, I have saved it on my model railroad playlist.
Oh, yeah, baby! That's like being in the dome along the Snake River, or riding in the rear unit, just watching the world come over the horizon and around the curve to a new vista. What a fantastic thing you have built. Thanks, Mike, brought back a lot of memories.
Thank you for your comments. A great memory of mine is sitting in the dome car of the CB&Q Afternoon Zephyr and watching the signal aspects change as the passenger train flew by the signals. Mike
Thanks, Gary. I’ll be posting a video fairly soon showing various loads I have in gondola cars and on flat cars (per your request). I appreciate you watching! Mike
The view from the cab with the signal is excellent. I am correct to assume these signals are/were typical on what was found on the RI? Again excellent layout. Cheers. Syl
The tri-light signals were commonly found on the Rock Island’s Mid-Continent Route; however, they had a single sun shield/visor instead of the individual sun shields on each light of the signal. Thanks so much for watching and for your comments. Mike
Don't ask me why, but I love to signals change?????? I agree with the other posts, yours is one of the best layouts that are out there on RUclips! You are creative with the different scenarios that you post. Would like to see some yard work and another transfer run.
My layout is in a 30' X 40' room. Here is a link to a video describing the overall layout: ruclips.net/video/ZzyqaoF6fsw/видео.html Thank you for watching! Mike

Always amazed by your layout. Thanks for the video. I miss the Rock Island and you've done a great job capturing it and the other fallen flags.
Thank you very much, I appreciate it! Mike
Thank you for sharing. Very nice, like DCC, signals make the layout come alive.

Thanks, Bob, I appreciate it! Mike
Mike, the operating signals have a real cool factor. I enjoyed the interesting perspective of seeing the signals change from the train.-Tom
