Good luck getting all the screws out! It's as if some of them were welded in during manufacturing. Called the company I purchased the replacement bulbs from and they walked me through another way in, to no avail- more impossible screws.

Thanks for the great video!!! I tried everything to get mine apart also. I repaired two of them. I did find out that you only have to take the 5 screws out on the bottom. I left the other 6 in the side.

Sure wish I'd read the comments before I started. I couldn't believe that there were 11 screws and another video for the Gen 3 says 4 but he doesn't bother to point them out( which is the biggest reason to watch the video. I can replace bulbs pretty easy but it's always a mystery which screws the manufacturer uses to hold the thing together)

To get into the Eden Pure XL1000 you must remove the black side covers then the top two black screws on each side. You must remove only the six screws on the bottom securing the side panels. Then it slides out. 22 screws total.

Nathaniel, wrong man... Turn unit upside down remove the two screws that have sealer paint on them and the up at the front there are three more in-between the casters, remove these, five total... Then grab the cabinet by the front lip and push the carriage out by applying pressure to the control panel.
Then to install carriage back into the cabinet turn the carriage on end and slip the cabinet over it. Lay the heater back on it's back and reinstall the five screws.
