- Hello and thank you for checking out the channel. I make brand new videos three times a week from different places around the Florida theme parks and beyond. My main focus is to make you feel like you are at your favorite places in the world, such as Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando, Universal Studios Hollywood, Disneyland and Cruising. I also help you with tips and tricks to navigate your way around the parks. I keep you updated with new information from the theme parks, hotels, travel, cruising and spooky things during the Halloween season. I hope you are ready for a new adventure because I am, lets go do this!
In today's video it's my very first visit to Discovery cove! I give you a tour around this tropical oasis and show you everything you need to know about visiting this beautiful park. Discovery Cove is a theme park owned and operated by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment located in Orlando. Visitors can interact with a range of marine animals including bottlenose dolphins.The main experience at Discovery Cove is swimming with a dolphins.The park contains a free-flight aviary, which contains over 250 tropical birds including parrots, toucans, and over 30 other species of exotic birds. The heated Tropical River runs through the aviary and circles the park, allowing guests to float past an assortment of the Discovery Cove’s beaches, waterfalls, and rainforest landscape.The Grand Reef features a white-sand beach, palm-lined island and underwater grottos filled with moray eels, reef sharks and scores of other tropical fish. Activities range from snorkeling with eagle rays to crossing a rope bridge over a shark-filled lagoon. The Price of your ticket includes everything including food, drinks, beer, wine, snacks, sunscreen, and towels. Thank you for watching, please give this video a big thumbs up!

Me: in love with ocean wildlife but terrified to snorkel in water deeper than my knees.
Discovery Cove: “Ha, we’re gonna bring you the best sea wildlife snorkel experience ever and it’s all outside of the ocean”
The tricks to swim comfortably in water when you have a slight fear are: life vests and a snorkel that drains from the bottom of the tube. The snorkel always has air in it. I find that equipment most comfortable.
Discovery Cove is a must. It’s the best bang for your buck. Doesn’t give you a theme park vibe at all feels very exclusive.

Hey, Now that you did everything including the other parks, How did you like Discovery cove? We live about 2 hours from Orlando and we were thinking about going. Did you just do the basics or did you get any of the add-ons?
@@blaster-zy7xx it’s almost like a spa with all inclusive. If you want to get a chill day by the pool with food and drink, this is the place. I didn’t swim with the dolphins because I feel sorry for them. I’d prefer to see them free in the ocean but that’s me. Other than that the food is fine, the drinks do their job and the pools are nice. I recommend to go at least once for the experience.

What you did not mention is that they cap the amount of visitors each day so it is never over-crowded. It can be tough to get the day you want- especially on weekends because they sell out so plan way ahead.
I went in 2010 for my graduation gift from grad school!!! Best day ever .... you have to do the dolphin encounter...... amazing 🤩 once in a lifetime thing to do!!!
How long is the encounter?
Just came across this. I used to work there and man, this place is absolute paradise! Even working there was a dream. There was nothing like watching sunrises or sunsets depending on my shift with the water, the dolphins and just that ambiance. Loved this! Glad you loved it too ❤
I can’t believe you live in Florida and have never been to Discovery Cove, it was the first place we visited on our first trip to Florida from the Uk such an amazing place .

My absolute favorite place in Florida! Only been once but was the time of my life getting to swim with the dolphins! Swimming with the Rays was another awesome experience. Glad you had as much fun as I did :-)

If you are a Florida resident they currently have discounted prices. Prices range from $199- $119 depending on the date you pick. This is for the resort day, but they also have discounted prices for the dolphins encounter and other day packages.

Wow, that place is amazing and the amount of times I've been to Orlando, I never really knew what Discovery Cove was all about! ive been twice. my daughters are 10yrs apart so i took them both when they were each approx 8yrs old. best experience ever!!! the pictures we have swimming with the dolphins are so cherished. we also bought the video of our experience. all that can get very expensive so plan on it because youll want them. best day ever!!!

Watching this Video brings back so many memories it made me cry. I was here in 2012 Discovery cove was unbelievable.
LOVE Discovery Cove! I haven't been there in 20 years! The last time I went was in June of 2001. I remember they had only been open for a year at the time, so the park was still very new when we were there. My husband (boyfriend at the time) and I went to celebrate our 1-year anniversary as well as his birthday, which are both in June. We had the BEST time ever. Out of all the places we went in Orlando (Disney, Seaworld, Animal Kingdom. and Universal Studios), this was, hands down, the best experience we had. Nothing can ever compare to swimming with dolphins! They are so sweet and gentle and HIGHLY intelligent. This makes me want to go back! I'm going to have to talk my husband into another trip. I have family in southern Florida, so we try to get down there as often as we can.
We absolutely loved this video. I put it on the big screen and it was incredible. I had no idea all Discovery Cove has to offer. My friend goes often and keeps telling us we have to check it out. Now I know we definitely need to. Great video. We love your channel. Thanks for all of the awesome information.

What an epic review of Discovery Cove . That place looks awesome
Everyone wants to do the dolphin encounter when they go, (I understand that) but it does take away time from your day. I'd recommend going and just experience DC first....there's so much to do, and eat, and drink- and you won't have to constantly watch your time to make sure you're on time for the add on experiences. Spend as much time as you can snorkeling- it is AMAZING.

I went last week and loved most of the experience. It was definitely a tropical paradise feel. I had two negative issues. First is minor. I hope the will eventually offer tubes for the lazy river, it will make the float much more relaxing. The second is majors to my wife and I. We thought the food was sub par. For the price, can they break a real egg, the powdered ones were bad and the sausage tasted like a lower quality meat. At lunch I had the steak. Very tender but the cook must have dumped the whole box of salt on it, inedible. I realize it’s basically a cafeteria but when paying $240 per person I expected better.

The aviary is probably the best part of discovery cove. The birds were so friendly when I went there, a lot of them landed on my head and arms. Plus some of the snack stations have freshly baked warm cookies that are sooo good! and the sandy beaches are really soft. They aren't spiky at all. You can also book a dolphin tour where you get 30 minutes with a dolphin! you get to teach them tricks, pet them, and even ride them! I loved it.
