Such a powerful song about an abusive, dependant relationship. Her self cry for help; "there is a heart in here, where is the heart in here" shows how she wants to be strong and get away for herself but is so dependant on her abuser she finds it easier to be 'silenced' and waits for her abuser to come back. very sad song and depicts the emotions of some types of domestic abuse very well. great to see meaningful, challenging songs are still being made among the majority of other dullness.
@@LucasSantana-ws8po I know I'm late to the Party. It's about much more than murder. It's about the pain of betrayal. Mental as well as Physical abuse. She was expecting romance. Instead, savagely Murdered. Although her body lay dead. Her love for him held on hoping for his return. No matter how Abusive he was to her.
I love this song!! It made me look at past relationships 😢 the devaluing, rejection, making me feel so insignificant but, I'm learning to love myself again
This song is so real and raw with emotions I love the vocals her voice is haunting and yet awesome this is my new group I’m here after watching Tell Me Your Secrets on Prime Video 🥰👏👏
Unbelievably powerful and hauntingly beautiful song. Their harmonies send shivers down my spine and my heart aches a little to think of how much pain someone must have been in to write a song like this.
I introduced my ex to Little Green Cars about 6 years ago, it was a beautiful time and we loved this album as if it was part of our special bond at that time. Sadly we ended up breaking up and we didnt see each other for almost 2 years. Ironically the next time we saw each other was at another Little Green Cars concert, except this time we were complete strangers as if we had never met. It's amazing how now I only associate the sad songs with the memories we shared.
I've been listening to this song for two years now; It keeps getting better with age! :D :D Sooooooooooooooo disappointed with myself for not seeing you live yet!! COME TO MAYO!!!!!!!!!
+Conor Phillips ah man seriously!? They're playing in ivy gardens Dublin on the 23rd or24th, if that's any good to ya! might be tickets left if you're lucky😁
Still kinda wishing you'd come back again as a band. I found you when I was 15 and now I'm pushing mid 20s I don't know where I'd be if I hadn't. Your songs remain my favourite songs and you still hold a special place in my heart after all those years. :(
thank you Soda Blonde (LGC in their new iteration) for bringing this back the other night in Vicar Street, I was in utter shock, sang my lungs out....beautiful
Heard this song in the car today and I love it! Reminds me of Florence and the Machine. The lyrics also resonate with me, especially the lyric This love is killing me but I think I want it to. Just really stood out. Very beautiful and sad. Ill remember this band. This is also my first time hearing them and I love their band name, its so good and cute!
Such a powerful voice. I found this song for free and realized that i actually loved it and kept listening to it. For some strange reason i searched for the video today. Now I'm watching this and fell in love even more. I understand the song even more and its beautiful, i can't have enough of the meaning of this video its so melancholy but in a happy way at the end. i loved it.
This song was so cleverly written. One example is just by the contradictions it includes; it is sung with such strong vocals yet the character portrayed in the song seems vulnerable and submissive. I wish more people would appreciate this kind of music instead of stereotyping it as 'depressing' or whatever. Beautiful song.
finally something more similar to florence and the machine... YEY even though its still really different but love the instruments, quiet moments, strong voice.. love it

Weird, too me it was a music about a murder
@@LucasSantana-ws8po yes I thought so too the #metoo warrior's need this one for domestic violence. Huh
Sounds like she is dead and her soul is waiting.

This song is so depressing.
Play it again..
I love dark songs. They make me happy. Find country death song by violent femmes.

I replayed this song soooo many times
The chills. Every single time.
This song transcends time and genres and is levels above anything made by bands which have had equal exposure
I'm very glad to have stumbled upon this!
This woke me up out of my sleep. I left the radio on and at 4 am I jumped up and it was playing. Scary!!!
That happened to me once but with The Beatle's I Am the Walrus right on the part where they're going " hohoho hihihi hahaha!"...scariest shit ever
Her voice reminds me of Florence and the Machine in parts here.
