@Jerome Louvet - DIY does throttle body cause low milage in spark.... Mine was cleaned... No rpm fluctuating... But machanic says that you need to reset throttle body for better milage.

Hi Amit, in town perhaps a little bit because you use the idle system. So if the idle is not stable it could cause a greater consumption. But when you take motorway or this kind of road, I don't think so. The computer adapt the quantity of gasoline to the air entering by the throttle body and that's it. You have to remember that when you use the accelerator pedal you command directly the throttle, so no action from computer to move it. Cheers! ;-)

and I give you an advice: if the throttle body is not very dirty and it works corectly, do not touch it! :-)
