Well you got a new sub, & one ☝️ reason for the immediacy in subbing was the SPEED I was able to hear the best, most versatile word ever: “FUCK;” love it. Bring on the insights. 👍👍
I’m getting ready to go back to school so I can become an Ag Economist. No farm background at all. You’re podcast helps me get a really good insight to the culture and mindset present in the ag community as well as current issues.
Love you guys so much respect I've been diving in a lot lately trying to get as much knowledge as i can I'm starting to get a lot of hands on experience with a long time hay cattle farming family I live with they've brought me into the fold learning the ins and out of their 500 acre operation im excited to keep learning for the rest of my life!
I don’t think manufacturers would include fire suppression do to liability issues. On the other side, when a machine burns to the ground it has to be replaced.
I’m a dairy milk hauler in Tulare, Ca. The way California has been fucking the ag industry, especially dairy farmers, is increasingly getting worse and it’s pretty sad.
On the topic of fire suppression, almost all john deere cs690 and cs770 cotton strippers have aftermarket fire suppression. It's almost possible to insure one without fire suppression.
We are on second spray on corn pivots on corn are going on thrid pass bean will get second pass soon if we don’t get rain in two weeks I think our dry land will be dead it’s not good
Book to read.... Can't Hurt Me by David Goggins. Period. The audio book is better than the actual book, but the actual book is good too. The audio book offers inside to his experiences and color to the story... I think it makes the story SO much better.
I know yall normaly focus on swine and grain but where do you think the commercial fishing industry is going with the regulatory changes? I belive the industry will consolidate much like swine, poultry did
Regards from Denmark. You are sertently right about the crazy regulations here as you properly know is denmark a large pork and dairy producer. But the curent status is that the hog number is now the lowst in 30 years all the old and smaller operations less than 10000 hogs annually is closing down all the small dairy farm 100 cows and less is gone. The autyties has full right to make there ovn laws that means that the happyness is gone from the sector when the the inspectors roll in to the yard is the farmers scared and are thinking is there any thing they can make a problem out of. The fines is not 10000 usd to 5 year prison, My boss was close to go to prison last year on a old case of 5 pigs there died on a transport to the processers. I drive hogs for a large pork producer and our manager is having a full time job just doing paperwork to keep the crazys some sort of happy. Just as a driver im spending 1 hour a load on paperwork i got 4 logbooks i got to keep and the smalles error is a 10000 USD fine i have to Pay and My imployer gets one to. Personly im in the proces og immigrating to the us and Will likely be there in 2026.
Four Roses is a great smooth Bourbon. Especially at their price point. Also Ethan Clarke has a really good story. I would love to see you guys have him on the show
You guys are talking crap about food security… you grow millions of bushels of GM corn for biofuels and animal feed.. now we are trying to force it down Mexicos throat…we pump the ground full of synthetic fertilizer… these foods leading to processed carbs have given us biggest obesity crisis in history… we need to go back to drawing board let farmers produce healthy alternatives in a climate sustaining way cut down a lot of this meat production towards healthy organic alternatives. We dont need billions of subsidies in europe and US pumped into farming gazillions of corn and beets!!
I hate the wind too sa I've said Mother Nature needs a speed limit.15 MPH should be as high as she's allowed to go.
@hew7187 the wind sucks you get a hot day and the wind pushing 15-20 you can damn near hear the water evaporating out of the dirt

Actually they want us to eat ze bugs which I don't think so
I think cussing should be part of the show. No need to clean up your mouth Sawyer
Please cuss more. Fuck the haters 😂
To destroy small farms, making food more expensive, all by design. People have to wake up.
Show is great but there is no need for swearing. If it continues they will lose viewers in m opinion
