It's commonly assumed that launching nukes is the end of the world. In reality, the US has vowed to not use nukes in countervalue (civilian) attacks. Major Attack Option 1 of the SIOP calls for counterforce strikes to eliminate the nuclear forces (and most of the armed forces) of Russia.
I think that with the current population growth trends and the effects of them we see in the world, the use of nuclear weapons will be focused on major population centers to simply obliterate the enemy's capability of sustaining a long war. Conventional forces can destroy conventional forces, but cannot destroy cities. So it would be pretty genocidal. Which suits me, I have zero aspirations living in a post-nuclear war Earth.

You might want to get your information from independent sources...in two months of their counteroffensive, Ukraine has retaken 100 sq km of territory, Russia is still holding onto over 100,000 sq km. This has come at a cost of 42,000 Ukrainian soldiers and nearly 40% of all the armor we have provided to them for this strike. Ukraine is not getting the territory back, in fact, over the next six months, I would expect them to lose even more of their territory leaving Russia in control of well over 1/3 of the country.

NATO would not invoke article 5 over a lost convoy. Most NATO countries do not want want war with Russia as their countries would be devastated. The whole point of NATO is act as a deterrent to war, not to drag countries into war.
Even if NATO invokes article 5 or states that if Russia destroys nato convoys as an attack on NATO, makes no sense since it essentially gives Russia a right to attack it given any weapon used against Russia can be destroyed for self defense
Love the info graphics this guys voice sounds very cool

Я очень надеюсь, что основная масса людей на западе не тупо смотрят телевизор, а хоть немного пытаются своим мозгом думать "что, зачем и почему". Впрочем, как и у нас.
Funny how France now is stepping back they seem to go with the flow in out , ...in out ..
France surrendered already😂😂😂
You give to much attention to this 3.rd world country ,,russia,,!!! they are no military power to compete with NATO !!!!! They are struggling with Ukraine....that says it all about russian military power😅😅😅😅😅, NATO would need only few weeks to drink Cafe at Kremlin.
So why not, Russia is so vulnerable?
Thanks for sharing
Love you beautiful work ( would love to say that i am glad that Ukraine is finally getting putin back for destroying the country
U.S response to nuclear threat is counter nuclear attack + any country chance to get rid of nuke is like 10% and if one is sent there is like 20 on air after that. this is just super hopeful scenario.
You should do a video on the Afghanistan pullout. That was a great move 🙄. It's obvious where your political alliances lie lol.
This was epic, I've just had it on the entire day at work

Surprised this video completely forgot about the countermeasure washdown system that the carriers would have turned on

dont underestimate your enemy!!
Great video. But I can't understand why you use the image of an old Harrier plane to show the F22 Raptor? It looks nothing like it.
You've got far more than one cruiser defending a carrier group.
I think it’s like 8-12 ships and a couple subs actually so yeah a lot more than one 🤣
The United States has 17 Ticonderoga class cruisers. They have 11 active carriers. Some have 1 cruiser protecting, some have 2. Some are being refitted, some are in maintenance. Doesn't make for a lot of cruisers to go around.
there's also between 3 and 5 arleighburke flight 3's with each battle group as well which carry sm6's as well they all would have been launching and using sensor information from all ships radar's making it easier to pick out the warhead from decoy's @@RogerW9421
@@RogerW9421 The trick is that the Ticos can feed that data to other ships, things like Arleigh Burke Destroyers, which are ALSO part of the Aegis defense network. And, as of writing this, we have *seventy-two* active. There is more than one ship engaging the nuke falling on that carrier.
Haven't you done this topic like twenty times this year????
Ireland isn’t a part of nato, so I don’t know why you would use the flag.
Such frightening times we live in...

We’ve lived in incredibly dangerous times since the end of WW2 and the creation of nukes

i cant walk in my american city at night - for fear of being mugged - but for over a year weve been told " russia is losing - trust me - they are fine - do you plan to tell us for the next ten years how russia is " losing ?
I have to say. Even though it's a short cartoon, it still puts a lump in my throat. Years ago, i was a certified key holder for the specials hold on an ammo ship. Basically, it required 2 of us to open that hold to gain access to the specials. Either for transport to another ship or if during a security alert to be the last line of defense to keep that hold secure. So yes, it puts a lump in my throat.
I remember that channel used to have more diversity of subject matter. Now everything is all about Ukraine and Russia. You guys know there are more subject matters out here than just that right?
It’s a popular subject
Tell me about it, it's easy clicks tho.
I agree there is other subject matters they could make content about. But right now with nuclear war being threatened, even if just a bluff, predictions on how things would play out is what's taking over a lot of the Internet. Unfortunately a world war isn't as far away as it used to be.

Gee its almost like the channel owners and content creators make whatever videos they want without needing your approval.
How weird.
😂"smart"
Australia sent a huge amount of cardboard drones, which seems to evade detection well enough to fly from Ukraine, into Russia Proper & right into the long range bombers while they were parked.
Say what you want about smart blah blah, Australia has always been able to low tech innovate well enough to halt high tech allies during training events.
Australia has become a major manufacturer of the weapons of war.
The 100+ Bushmasters we sent have been devastatingly well deployed by Ukraine.
Make no mistake, we are one of the wealthiest 1st world nations, but it's not luck.
For decades we have been the world's most creative middle power, punching well above it's weight.

Germany's dependence on Russian energy sources: On the one hand, people have relied on Russian energy sources for too long out of sheer convenience. On the other hand, alternatives are now being implemented. Moreover, the winters in Germany are no longer as cold as they used to be, which can be measured by how rarely it still snows. Seen in this light, one can no longer derive a threat potential from this, as one could have done 30 years ago.
Next year Germany could have a cold snap and fall into anarchy.

I'm skeptical President Biden could get out enough of a sentence to talk to multiple allies.
Dude you do realize that you F-22 in this video is an AV8 Harrier right? You got the SU 57 right but the plane you are calling the F-22 is not snapped anything like an F-22. It’s shaped like a Harrier jump jet or an F-8 Crusader which is an old outdated and no longer flown aircraft. I think the Harrier is still being flown but the last thing it or the F-8 is is stealth.
They already have directed energy weapons in conventional war, not too far of a stretch to think we already have directed energy protection from nukes
They already tested them on Maui.
