In other words, what the baby represents; new life. I thought that Britney would be hurt by the end of their relationship, but that she needed to move on, that's why she needed to be reborn That's why in the video clip, the old Britney came out; which is where she drowns in the bathtub. And the new Britney enters, which is when the baby is born. That's why she gets up from the bathtub at the end of the clip smiling. I thought that meant that, the new Britney being born.*

But if you LISTEN to the lyrics, it is about her cheating specifically. The baby imagery makes sense now bc it represents a struggle they went through, but the lyrics literally say, " My weakness caused you pain and this song is my sorry". And she admitted in the book that she cheated.
It could also mean that her weakness was about the abortion and the song is her sorry.
She kissed the guy, for god's sake. Justin did way worse with multiple women, he even was photographed with one. "My weakness caused you pain" could mean she wasn't strong enough to withstand the pressure to abort, so she apologizes for it to her never born child.

I had no idea he did that. I mean I'm prochoice AF but it's Her Body,should have been her choice. Having a baby would have changed her life so much. Likely for the better. She is a great mom.
