My favourite part. ‘Hope it doesn’t short’ - not sure about pressure spraying the engine. Thanks for sharing though

Could have unclipped the wiring loom from the big black plastic cover and removed two more bolts and that whole piece comes out. Give you way better access to motor and is easy to clean both sides.

A nice way to help some wiring rot away under the hood ;)

I've been planning on doing this, I also have an n52. Should I be concerned about the alternator? I also see u spraying the top left where the electronics are.... I want to clean it so I can find out where my leak is and have a clean bay to work with. I have a 330i 2006. Nervous I might wet something I shouldn't... There's also a panel near the intake boots near the purge valve... Would I be fine?

Looks like you lost a screw from the cabin air filter box George, drivers side.
Lemme know if you need a replacement, I've got a bucket full of screws and nuts left over from servicing my M6.

@@GeorgeAusters man, I used to detail and wash my engine till it was sparkling new. Then one day water got into the ECU. All sealed. Since then, I don't mess around that engine bay with water. Lol

Helped me see what’s lurking below the cabin air filter box. The plastics have been poorly treated by mechanics on servicing. The lower air filter box support is shot and need replacement. Another reason I watch your videos because I can’t keep spending good money for shoddy work. Ever put the prices up so you have good profit margins or customers like me get sick of finding damage because your rushing to make a profit.
