One of the nicest dudes in the scene. When I started making designs ZooMaa actually showed a lot of love on a few, and now I'm here freelancing full-time.
I never knew Tommy played for Chelsea’s academy team. That’s actually wild he was obviously fucking nasty at soccer and the way he mentions it you can tell how humble he is. He seems like a down to earth person
Really liked this podcast...Zoomas been around for ages but he doesn't really stand out too much....Great player but doesn't put himself out there with content much and was surprisingly very comfortable in this being on camera etc.... Big respect to him
I'm only 30 minutes into the podcast, but this is one of the best flowing episodes I have listened to yet. ZooMaa and Hecz aren't missing a beat with the conversation, going from topic to topic. They're not cutting each other off too much either. Cheers!
First things first, shoutout to Hecz.. Such a great person, the work he does for the scene is just so impressive 🤯 However, as a member of the audience watching these podcasts I think if Hecz improved his interviewing skills he would be able to get the most out of his guests... for example, Hecz talks about having good parents, being disciplined and then goes on to talk about vandalising and getting arrested, if he had of tied the anecdote up nicely by asking a leading question such as “Zoomaa, Did you ever get into trouble / were you ever arrested / have any interesting stories about this from your past?” it would go from just Hecz rambling (for lack of a better word!!) to getting more from his guests! In fact Zoomaa begins to say he got arrested once but Hecz keeps talking! Just a missed opportunity to ask more! This happens quite often across all the episodes I’ve seen, Hecz sets the stage with anecdotes but frequently never flips it and leaves the guest to talk about their own related experiences! Hopefully Hecz reads this and takes the criticism onboard and not personally, I reaallllyyy do love the podcast apart from that ❤️🥺👉🏻👈🏻
As always, an awesome time watching and listening. Hecz, you rock. Zoomaa is an awesome dude. Natural and chill dude on camera and in the convo. Loved it.
Thats insane, My younger brother did the exact same thing when he did his ACL. It was on a field his knee gave way in a random pothole on the field. Hard luck Tommy
BO3 hands down best CoD. You could do pretty much anything you want with the character. The movement was insane. Cross map snipes were sick and for the most part counter-able. Jet pack was limited so you couldn’t get TOO crazy but it was enough to get sick with. And the maps were cool.
Hecz doesn't like Express because it was over multiple levels but loves Armada even though its over multiple levels. Think the main reason behind his feelings towards that map is gonna be because of MLG Orlando 2013... one of the biggest Optic chokes of all time.
After watching both this episode & the Attach episode talk about GA's it got me thinking what ever happened to the ban & protected mechanic back in Black Ops 3?
Seriously at the point to where I say “Screw GA’s” cause it’s all over the place and obviously not regulated by a small group of pro players anymore...
As someone who works on games... I'd imagine they can bring back old maps and re-skin/theme them fairly easily. There may be some unknowns, but still. Worst case scenario, they can't re-use ANY assets from an old map and rebuild them to be higher poly with higher res textures, etc, etc. Well, then they can rebuild the map from scratch.
Genuinely gutted for Zoomaa, got his injury with football first ended his career. Now he’s out the league too because of injury. Been in the scene for a long time. I know he’ll bounce back.
Pausing at the point where Asims come out is told, the fact that a pro was discovered because of a twitch channels sub tournament is the ultimate come up. Can't be topped.
Awesome episode! Kinda along the lines of the keeping classic maps things, I’ve wondered if it’d be possible to have 1 studio selected to be the “competitive” developer (Treyarch feels like the obvious choice) and comp stays on their title until their next one comes around. Still keep the yearly release cycle with 3 studios, but comp would stay on the Treyarch title until their turn in the cycle again. I’m probably in the minority, but to me competitive always seems to finally get really fun to watch right before Champs, but then it’s time to move on to the next game. I’d much rather keep the same title for 2-3 years especially if it’s a good comp title.
Have heard you talk about bringing back old maps (Usually using CSGO as an example of how that works well playing the same maps). A concern is that CSGO is going into a dark era right now and people having to watch the same maps for the last few years is most likely part of that reason. It is interesting to bring back 3-4 maps that are great and add 3-4 of the new maps. Only problem with this idea is that pro's will just continue to pick the maps they know the best/play the best (the old ones) and the new ones won't get played. Just thinking about it logically, why get good at a map that is potentially only going to be around for a year, when you can practice on one that will be around for the next 10. That creates an even bigger problem with trying to tap into the casual side that won't really see these maps when they are jumping on with their buddies. Each game seems to always push their new maps hoping it will become a classic (Not much luck lately lol). As much as we hate to admit it, if we want COD to be the next big league and someday become a NFL/NBA, you have to find a way to merge the casual with the highest level. I don't have the answer to the problem, but I think just throwing old maps in is a great band-aid but what happens when we miss out on an entire generation of COD players because these old maps don't hold that same nostalgia as they do to us. Just some thoughts I wanted to share after listening to many of the podcasts!
The league should host a Scrim Series every week where they pick two teams to scrim each other in a best of 7... Just an idea! They could do it every Monday or something like that and call it "Monday Night Scrims"! I think it would be pretty cool
Thanks for having me on the show Hector! And shout out to all of you guys watching, love you all ❤️😤

Tommy’s one of the best personalities in the scene we need him to make more content!
My favorite part is Formal just sitting in the background blending in 😂
I need that Skraps podcast Asap. That Mexico story sounds interesting 🤔
Podcast has moved from the side to the centre of the heczquarters! 😎

When Formal walked in the back. i am CRYING why was that so funny
He been plotting to murder zooma since ww2 playoffs lmao
Wen did he walk in?
Patch notes on GA's... I LOVE that idea. Do what you have to do, but keep the viewers in the loop in terms of why.
This has the dopest intro I've ever heard... I can watch the beginning of each episode over and over
I wish I could adopt attach and zooma, nicest guys on the scene and it's not even close
Ga everything, only punching allowed

Definitely one of the best episodes ever, Tom’s got such a natural talent when it comes to speaking that makes you pay attention and stay entertained
Ye one of the best ever is a biggggg stretch
all personal beliefs brotha, depends on what you’re looking for in an episode
ZooMaa grew up. I fucking love it. Great episode.
I just love Zoom A’s voice
The Italian Stallion wants what is right for the game, not what is right for him or his team mates. That's how GA's should be.
29:50 shows that HECZ is just ahead of the game inside the COD esports scene
I loved the intro. Just talking and then getting into it. The podcast is awesome!
Even as a male I am not afraid to admit that Zoomaa is fkn HOT gah damn that's one good looking fella.

You should see his girl

Hecz always with the fire pod cast.
There should be a rule that no two players on the same team can run the same gun. That would be awesome with the diversity of weapons in competitive
Makes me laugh Skrapz represents 75% of the uk with the way he talks but everyone’s seems to think we are posh 😂😂😂😂😂
