you guys from Asia who have facial similarities really can be an actor and even get lead roles, there's a lot of thai, japanese, Chinese actors in Korea. But for us who have a really different face is just impracticable 😔

As Korea is very homogenious society and has their own language, I think it is almost impossible for non-native speaker to have lead role in the mainstream otherwise it is about foreign theme. Plus, Korean is extremely strict about acticing skills, anyone-native or not- will be mercilessly criticized if he or she has poor acting skills. Professionalism is no joke in Korean entertainment industry.

First u have to master their language. Maybe study there for language first (if u dont know how to speak yet) then attend college for filmmaking. Then just like in the PH, you have to work your way up from PA. difference is the competition there is 10000x harder than in the Philippines but if you start now (esp with speaking fluently) then you might have the chance! PS: bakit di mo muna subukan sa Pilipinas?
