Pixel team ofcourse. Oneplus 9 pro is just too inconsistent with colour rendering and video stabilization is totally lacking compared to pixel or other flagships. I think oneplus just don't care about user experience at all. The camera of their flagship phone says it all...

Would really have appreciated a detailed comparison video like this to be uploaded in 4K. While most viewers are probably on their phones and cannot tell the difference, there are a lot of enthusiasts who still use PC's and some like me who also use 4K screens + PC for comparisons. Great video nonetheless, just wish it was in 4K.

I have OnePlus 9 Pro and love how it handles photos. I agree, that overall Pixel has a better cameras, but I think it's more because of better software put into photography. Good OnePlus photos need more practice and still not always end up good, especially photos of moving objects. Nevertheless, thank you for the comparison! Have a happy New Year!

Seems like there are slight trade-offs in terms of what you want to get out of an image for your self. I'm every day picture taking use I'd probably go with Pixel according to this. Meadows is a good place to take pics and videos you get the greens and the structures.

I'm just baffled at why Pixel 6 eliminated wide angle selfie camera my Pixel 3 had. It came in so handy for group shots. The "wide angle" for P6 Pro still isn't as wide as P3, correct?
question: did you take Fotos with max Resolution on the Oneplus? The results are very different.
I have the 9 Pro. It continues in the usual Oneplus fashion - it's inconsistent. Photos often come out without enough saturation and contrast, but I have discovered that this can actually often be remedied with pleasing results by editing in the gallery, just add a little bit of saturation and contrast. However this method is not always viable if there's an overcast of some color in the picture, because that would also become more intense. Also sometimes red colors are super saturated by default, so again, no saturation can be added. Add a whole bunch of contrast, and saturation, and BOOM you just took iPhone photos.
Yeah, the photos are alright, or good, not full price good, but good if you bought it from a sale. But you can never expect any particular kind of result. Add in the fact that the results have been changing with updates all the time, and now with the upcoming OOS12, the results will change again. HAVE YOU SEEN WHAT IT DOES TO VIDEO SATURATION?! Congratulations, your camera now has a Fortnite mode by default.
All this mess from something that was advertised with Hasselblad really makes me think why there's not been a lawsuit yet.
Great comment! Consistency is important and yeah the latest software update seems to have many bugs. Hopefully they can work harder to improve it via future updates

You are right about the cameras on the OnePlus 9 pro being different. The OS update did this. This video was using the new oxygen 12 check out Grant likes tech video on the 11 and 12 camera comparison. Great vid btw team OnePlus
Wow didn't realize they would regress on the cameras with the Android 12 update. But if that's the case, then it means they can patch it and improve it with future updates!
In android 13 update OnePlus 9 pro camera is very improved. I am using this device there is some unnatural colours in oneplus 9 pro but stabilization became very efficient.

The Pixel has better video performance, way better selfie and tele and the hdr works extremely well... but i prefer the main and ultra-wide cameras of the Oneplus, wider focal length, great detail, and the Hasselblad science results in crispy images with beautiful colors but still keeping the final image somehow natural and true to life.

Your are right on Tele, Selfie and HDR. But I disagree on Video. The Pixel is very grainy in many situations. I have both devices. I always pick my OP9pro for video.

Thanks for the support! S21 still has very good cameras. Pixel 6 pro telephoto is awesome tho, however the s21 ultra telephoto is better than pixels.

Hi, I was wondering if I'm the only one experiencing this, but lateley I get alot of blurry pictures with the OP9 Pro when an object or subject is moving, like people's heads, hands etc..I can't remember it being like this when I first got the phone (haven't taken picture in a while)..is this because of an update or is their a fix? Cheers
I think it could be due to the latest android 12 update? Not sure though since my original device was replaced
I'm not okay with One Plus 9 pro while taking snapshot moving objects. Most of the photos blurry.
Nice video. These issues with the OnePlus 9 Pro didn't exist with OxygenOS 11. I know you have it running OxygenOS 12. If you can rollback the software, you can see how good the 9 Pro camera really is.

I went with a OnePlus 9 Pro because I purchased mine at $799 (256 GB) whereas the Pixel 6 Pro was $899 (128 GB). My only complaint with the camera system is that the color reproduction between the main and ultrawide cameras is quite different.
I've noticed that as well, I think the color temperature calibration is off. But anyway, that's a pretty good deal on the OnePlus, especially with that extra memory!

I have a launch T mobile varient of the OnePlus 9 pro, and In haven't had any issues so far. The cameras are great depending on the situation. The pixel 6 cameras are phenomenal though. So much so I may pick up the pixel 6 pro

I would realy like to see a Review of a Sony Xperia 1 iii from you , i'm just very interested in this Phone, it have some major weakness but the Details of Design and the Raw Camera makes good Vibes for me. In my Mind you get much Hardware for the Money and less Software as other Phones but I dont mind it , if you come from a 3-4 Year old phone like mine (Huawei Mate 20 lite). For me its more interesting in Design and Unique Features as some other Phones like Samsung they look to much Mainstream.
The AOD on the 9 pro could send someone with epilepsy into a seizure it seems like it's flickering super fast.

In my country the One plus 9 pro goes for 34,000 Pesos (665.50 USD) that's at 8 gb ram 256 Storage. And Base model Google Pixel 6 (not pro) at 37,000 Pesos (724.35 USD) . Im certainly leaning towards the One plus. Thoughts?

With a human subject. Handling skin tones is one of the important aspect for the modern day camera phones which has been missed out here.

One thing I consistently dislike on the Pixel is too much lightening of shadows. It may give you more detail, but in side by side comparisons, I find it makes night shots look a little unnatural.
Yes I agree. Sometimes that detail is nice to have but other times it's fine to just see darkness and more contrast

Sometimes pixel is better, sometimes OP9 is better... Both are very good, but probably pixel has little bit better video because of OIS bug in OP9 ! :D

both are pretty good. even in MKBHD video oneplus 9 pro made it to the final round and lost against pixel 5a which is the phone that beat the pixel 6 pro at first round lmao

Here's the one thing you failed to point out, but rest assured you are not alone. You failed to point out that you can not use an external microphone with OnePlus's native camera app. Please don't tell me to just use a 3rd party camera app because 3rd party app's recognize an external microphone. That's not the point. The point is OnePlus get's an F if this case for failing to implement a feature that's been around for years and for not listening to thousands of it's customers to have this feature added.

Me decanto por él OnePlus pero mi opinión se basa en un punto de color, contraste y una chispa de esfuerzo por mejorar y lo han conseguido . Es donde he visto que me ha echo dejar mi nikon olvidada.
No digo que el pixel se peor al contrario, es que tenemos un nivel muy alto y eso amigos míos nos beneficia.

OnePlus 9 pro gets a awesome photo now and horrible photo right next. Updates have been making the phone worst and worst. Videos where great, now they have stuttering and freezes. Some one should really expose OnePlus for what they've become and help people not being scammed.

My OnePlus 9 pro is horrible. Most bugged out pile of junk. Even after the newest update. Now it just randomly shuts off

Two different cameras, two different results. You can't get wrong with either of them. The Pixel 6 Pro has better detail, sharper photos and colours are more accurate on the Pixel. The OnePlus 9 Pro can be inconsistent in colours, night mode is better but noise is present and some autofocus issues. Choose your poison. Haha 😄

I wouldn't use the OnePlus for any video. It's all pretty much unusable.

@@azvisuals Honestly, I feel like It’s a bug. Before the OOS12 update The OP9 Pro had amazing stabilization with almost no jitter, But now It doesnt even stabilize the video, Grant likes tech commented on this in his video speaking about how he noticed stablization was turned off in video even when shown its turned on (In OOS12) and he had to switch back to 1080p and then switch back to 4k to get the stabilzation to work, So I feel like that’s just a bug and the OP’s stabilization isn’t that bad
