He wanted to follow in his footsteps and play in Spain, and got to be a part of FC Barcelona and now FC Seville. I think meeting Raquel sparked that determination to become the player he is today. The interview shows his commitment to the local community, and has became Seville's adopted son, thanks to his spouse. She’s the aura of what makes Seville special to Rakitic.

Ivan habla 5 idiomas, entre ellos, español. Durante los 8 meses que intentó cortejarla, aprendió español, eso le ayudó a conquistarla y además a poder comunicarse mejor con su equipo. Ahora es super fluido en el idioma :)
