This is great!! Thank you so much for this information. This worked with GC 2.1.6. I duplicated and renamed the file as mentioned above and the options showed up! I was about to buy a very expensive rip when I ran across this at 1 in the AM. Thank you guys!
Hi there! Did you check the disclaimer in the caption? This might help: *WINDOWS 10/11 Update - Windows updates can change files/format/etc which can interfere with Reverse Mode. Following the video up to **2:35**, right click and copy the file named GarmentCreatorInterface. Paste the copied file in the same Local Store folder you are in. Right click the new file (GarmentCreatorInterface - Copy) and select “Rename”. Name the file EnableReverseMode and we are done. Open Garment Creator to access your new feature*
Also, a common hiccup in this process would be to make sure to not keep the ".txt" at the end of "EnableReverseMode" by deleting that part. Let me know if that resolves things!
Hello there, for something like that we would advise the Kothari NeoRIP software. Here is some info one why: aaprintsupplyco.com/pages/kothari-rip-software-for-dtg-printer?_pos=2&_sid=1f89efd7d&_ss=r
@@AAPrintSupplyCo is there anyway you could explain what exactly kothari does that makes them more accurate? i really want to upgrade Im just not completely convinced of what it does or how it deals with the fades and gradients. thanks
In short, Kothari is going to better handle the dot placement of the underbase and the color layer. This feature especially shows in complex artwork such as gradation and fades. The software is able to analyze the image and utilizes varying amounts of white in each part of the print - this also lowers the amount of ink used which gives us lower cost prints. We do offer risk free trials to test out for a couple weeks to see the difference, here is a video going over the program- ruclips.net/video/Lm1Bn0oVsHs/видео.html
Just figured out how to do this update on my Mac!! When you're in Finder, click "Command" + "Shift" + ">" to show Hidden Files. Then it's basically the same process as described in the video above. User/User/Library (this one was hidden)/Preferences/GarmentCreator/LocalStore Now create a .txt file in TextEdit, make sure to click Format and Make Plain Text so that the file will save as a .txt instead of .rtf Name the file EnableReverseMode.txt and Save Move this file to the LocalStore folder and Rename to delete the .txt file extension Open and close Garment Creator. Option is now visible!!
Tried several times on two separate computers and can't seem to get the function to appear. Looked at everyone else's advice below and still having issues. Anyone else having the same problem still?
