When I lived in the UK, I experienced many Scots and found a large percentage of them to discriminate against race and religion. Typical example right here. Whereas the Irish, got to love them. They are super friendly, easy going, and generally have great respect for Islam. Love how they standup for the Palestinian cause.
It's amazing how in todays times, with so much access to information, people can have such warped views of Islam. Personally, I don't think these views are due to ignorance, rather it's because their bigoted nature is deep rooted.
May Allah purify the filth in their hearts and guide them to the truth.
