This girl is a true artist. And the new album plays better when it's not on shuffle. There is a sense of order to the songs, like stories in an anthology. Someone put some serious heart into The Navigator.
Chris Bowen how many people listen to albums on shuffle anyway? Either they listen to the album or pick out songs from it and maybe then they listen to those on shuffle on a playlist
Absolutely brilliant! I saw the band for the first time on BBC TV earlier this year singing 'Living in the city' and I was knocked out. So glad I found this concert.
It's been so nice watching this band grow; they're more and more polished each time I see 'em. No Sweet Potato? NPR nailing the sound a lot lately. Good venue, good sound.
darkstar think you got it. She's an artist with solo intentions. But her music is deep and the direction is definitely forward. But I love the earlier stuff. She's got talent and she's CUTE AS HELL!
I'm convinced that Alynda Segarra has what is so rare through living, appreciating, hoping, struggling, dedication, natural talent and charisma. She is an artist with it all to reach and share.
Can we give some props to those lead guitar leads ...? Totally original and not clichéd....kinda reminds of Robby Krigers unorthodox playing .. The band seems to be fully engaged ..Newly converted to this band.. HFTRR !
She's been through a couple different bands over the years. This new band is best suited for her new material. I've seen them a few times and they have some major sound mixing issues to figure out. But it sounds fantastic here.
Yosi didn't want to tour anymore. Sam Doores and the bassist joined "the Deslondes". She transitioned very well if you ask me. Wouldn't be surprised if down the road some familiars come back.
No more fiddlesticks with Yosi I guess. Can be tough when a favorite artist changes her sound, but this is good material. Feels like an intermediate step to something else tho.
completely different from her roots - money makes the world go round. not my stuff - what a pity, that the OLD HFTRR has died. and if Alynda were honest, she would have made a new name for this mainstream pop crew - nothing to do with the former HFTRR.
I'm so glad I found this band by accident, The Navigator is a fantastic record, front to back
That third movement of Pa'lante is just killer... Alynda sings with such passion and fire. You just can't help but get goosebumps.
Patti Smith should have a smile on her face when she hears this. Alynda Segarra is worthy.
Man, I love Pa'lante. It's so powerful and always gives me chills towards the end ❤️
Annie such a great song. My favourite of the set.
same here
i was just thinking that !!! such a great song....... have a good day Annie :-)

The bass playing is killing me, damn, Caitlin in good! Not showboating but really claiming her space in the songs.
Great observation!
Totally agree!
Who is it on bass ? Caitlin? I was wondering who she was the other day
@@Tom-pn5sk She appears to be Caitlin Grey.
Gray is old school quality
Hurray for Hurray for the Riff Raff!!!!!
Los esperamos en Argentina!!
Man, I've been hooked since Look Out Mama. It's so awesome to see Alynda stretching like this.
2022 here... wondering how I missed this band for all these years! Beautiful sound! Shout out to Stephen Colbert for highlighting them on his show.
No human is illegal. I need to get that tee shirt. Southern New Mexico here.
So glad to see Alynda at this venue. Rock on Girl!
Thank you Guardian for highlighting "Hurray for the Riff Raff"

I have respect for this girl.
the new album is so so so so good
incredible, incendiary, intelligent...Revolutionary !!!...makes me want to join the movement...
So happy to see this band I've loved from the beginning on such a stage :)
She's the best in a long time ...a real talent with a lot to say
This girl, this band, is just great!
Wish they were visiting Sweden.
It's been so nice watching this band grow; they're more and more polished each time I see 'em. No Sweet Potato? NPR nailing the sound a lot lately. Good venue, good sound.
It has seemed to grow away from a band and into a solo act with hired hands. What happened to the band?
darkstar think you got it. She's an artist with solo intentions. But her music is deep and the direction is definitely forward. But I love the earlier stuff. She's got talent and she's CUTE AS HELL!
Absolutely love Alynda Lee and the Riff Raff. So much MUSIC in the girl
Amazing voice and style . She is amazing
I HOPE NOTHING WILL CHANGE THAT GIRL
Great band, saw them 3 days ago in Nijmegen (NL). Great impressing show with a very powerfull band and a marvellous singer Alynda ...
Alynda, connais-tu Paris ? C'est une ville surprenante. Nous t'y attendons !
My babygirl killed this show.
Love this. I saw them in Seattle that year. I have tickets to see her in Seattle this year.
I'm so looking forward to seeing them at End of The Road Festival next week.
I love all ranges of the music and lyrics from HFTRR. Please add Montreal to your tour. I would be please to perform an opening set.
I'm convinced that Alynda Segarra has what is so rare through living, appreciating, hoping, struggling, dedication, natural talent and charisma. She is an artist with it all to reach and share.
Shane Martin amen
FORWARD!
brilliant
GOOD BAND
Brought the white album to "Grumpys" NE. Mpls. vinyl nite, great response!
thomas harmon, they'll be in Minneapolis on April 30! About $20 a ticket at Fine Line.
purple and black albums would work great too..try those as well

I miss Yosi. But this band sounds great.
did she 86 her old band?
Yeah , what happened ?
She's been through a couple different bands over the years. This new band is best suited for her new material. I've seen them a few times and they have some major sound mixing issues to figure out. But it sounds fantastic here.
What do you mean by "they have some major sound mixing issues?"
Just the sound levels. The guitar was too loud, the bass sounded muddy and rattled the drums. The piano was drowned out on many songs.
Yosi didn't want to tour anymore. Sam Doores and the bassist joined "the Deslondes". She transitioned very well if you ask me. Wouldn't be surprised if down the road some familiars come back.
Who's here with me watching this during the pandemic? The vaccine is just rolling out- Pa'lante!
"Fourteen FLOORS i so reniniscent of dear GRAM PARSONS, mainlyI a lwespn
Where will the guitar with this tiny girl go to? ;-)
Hello
No more fiddlesticks with Yosi I guess. Can be tough when a favorite artist changes her sound, but this is good material. Feels like an intermediate step to something else tho.
surprised someone hasn't used the "Evolve" cliche term on your comment...not that I'm disagreeing with you at all...
P´alante!
Humm. ...I prefer the old lofi hip swagger.
f a b u l o u s - I wanna sing with her - ❤️🔥
Pa'lante!
This beautiful bitvh cray cray
