Why is MMDA not deputized by LTO?
Many people would say they don't really need to be. Because they have their own authority which serves the purpose.
But according to a recent hearing in the Senate or Congress, MMDA did try to get some of their enforcers deputized by LTO.
It might happen in the future.
Although with the way things might be heading, with the potential for the scale to be weighted against the enforcer, I wouldn't be surprised if many enforcers would prefer to simply avoid issuing tickets.
MMDA enforcers get paid the same whether they issue 1 ticket, or 100 tickets.
So if issuing tickets is going to result in headaches, it's quite likely that many would simply stop writing them.
@GadgetAddict thanks. Another question, who issues trip tickets for ambulances? And how would an enforcer who sees one, would know that it's real or not.
@@johnarat9618the trip ticket (or equivalent) would typically come from the hospital, LGU or the dispatcher of the ambulance.
Generally speaking, there would be an assumption of regularity.
So unless there's something that is obviously out of place, or another reason to question the legitimacy of the trip, it would be assumed to be genuine.
That's my personal interpretation of what I've seen.

Taasan ang multa tutal dami naman palang pera ng mga violators ang tagal tagal nang batas yan pero dami paring walang disiplina. Mga pinoy gusto ng pagbabago pero simpleng disiplina hindi magawa mga ipokrito din ehh.

If an enforcer met an accident while apprehending a violator like for example, they are already waiving for the driver to the side, yet he ignored it, an additional 300% fine will be added plus reckless driving and automatic deduction from payroll for medical expenses of an enforcer.
Abvious naman na sinita na pero gusto prin umeskapoz kaya no choice enforcer/s kundi lumapit pa lalo thus making the risk of an accident much greater.
Do these enforcers accept the digital id from LTMS since they are deputized by LTO?

Siguro dapat by % of SRP ng sasakyan ang penalties. Tulad nung naka bigbike 2nd time na pala nyan bale wala lang sa kanya yung penalty eh.
These violators are aware that it is prohibited to go inside the bus lane, they went out when they saw the enforcers. I wonder what would make them respect and obey the law, hmmmm.

You can actually print/photocopy your driver’s license through the LTO online portal.

MMDA, kung ang idea naman ng EDSA bus lane ay para sa "mass transportation". Baka pwede pong payagan niyong dumaan ang mga bus ng mga private companies at government buses na may sakay na hindi bababa sa 20 na mga empleyado. Para makabawas rin sila sa bigat ng daloy ng EDSA at the same time, na - mmaximize ang gamit ng EDSA bus lane. Baka pwede niyo pong pag aralan.

FYI, even when caught, most apprehended politicians(even their drivers), Uniformed personnel, traffic enforcers, etc. will never pa a cent of those penalties. They use this kumpare/tropa/kakosa system to get their penalties waived and get back their license back for free. 🤣🤣😝😝
