    Sana manlng may isang pinoy director na gumawa ng epic film with this song, especially about the 10 datu with great special effects and all the best filipino actors. It would be amazing. Tama na sana muna yung puro lovelife movies. Hahaha. Like if you agree. 😊😊😉

    • @fluffyfelix539
      @fluffyfelix539 3 года назад +5

      Oo nga. Kaso hindi masyadong binibigyang pansin ng mga producers and film makers ang mga ganyang film satin. Kung gagawa man, nakakadisappoint talaga minsan. Pero sana nga magkaroon ng Pre-Colonial themed na movie sa Pinas. ❤

      @@fluffyfelix539yes. im so tired of seeing the same and the same storylines every time. Puro love story, rom com, horror with lovelife, at walang katapusang drama na ishoshoot pa ibang bansa kasi ayaw na mag shoot dito sa pinas.

      It's high time for Filipino directors and producers to really step up their game. If they are to create such an epic, they have to do thorough and thoughtful research. There has to be a certain intellectual vigor and higher level of contemplation in crafting the story, dialogue, and musical score. The masses have been bombarded with low class productions for years and it has to change.

      By musicality reason Philippine music is very complex and difficult. Our folk songs were modified to be sung in choirs not only in Ph but other countries too. This is rooted deep in our culture and how we relate into it. A nation considered to be established by way how the people represents their collections of music, myths, legends and arts.

      The composer Mr. Benny Castillon was a former member of this group, The University of San Agustine Troubadours. The first performance of this song was actually done by a select group of Troubadour Alumni - Koro, in a local arts festival. But the first time this was exposed to the national audience was when this performed by the USA Troubadours in CCP for a music festival, therefore it would be appropriate to declare that it was they who originally sang this composition first, thus they are indeed the originators of the performances of this choral masterpiece.

    I wondered if the acoustics of the venue made the sound of this choir very fierce as the sound of the bamboo was not natural too. However, at many points, the sopranos were too powerful and it overpowered the other sections, especially the basses.

      Wala naman pong issue dun. Actually, meron pong tribo sa mindanao na halos bicol ang salita, although mejo iba na yung accent. Nagulat nga ako nung marinig ko sila kase naintindihan ko yung salita nila. Nung napagkwentuhan namin ni papa, sabi nya.. noon daw dumating ang mga kastila, may mga tribe sa bicol na nagmigrate sa mindanao. At isa ang bicol sa mga unang pinuntahan ng mga kastila. Ganun din po nangyari sa Visayas. Lalo na at sa Cebu dumating si magellan. Kaya nga matatapang ang lahi ng mga asa Mindanao, not matapang in a bad way, kumbaga mga warrior type. Sa mindanao kase naipon yung mga tribes na ayaw magpasakop noon sa mga dayuhan. Di man dapat gawing issue yan. Iisang bansa man lang tayo. Normal lang naman na kung saan saan nag originate ang mga tao.
