nami gid pamatian bisan pira na beses gin kanta sang iba nga famous chorale groups within d phils n international..iba gd pag ragumo ka karay-a sang original singers sang kruhay.. we both hailed from bugasong antique d birth place of d composer of kruhay...
Wow. This was like the standard of all kruhays. The diction is very accurate as well as the tribal authenticity. Even the soprano solo at the end sounded out of tempo, everything is this in place. Rooting to hear them again sometime.
The original group who sang this song that made them the champion of DOT's Best of the Best Choir Competition back in 2004. Congratulations, USA Troubadours! I've always been your fan!
Yes. Your right. And together with the contest piece entitled "Isang Matandang Panalangin" :) been there during the competition too. We represent Region 2. What an experience!
Being that this is really their piece, composed by their choirmaster this makes it really authentic. In all the other versions I heard, they get the musical nuances, one thing that is lacking is that Antiqueño karay-a diction/pronunciation. So to those choirs who will sing this, they should listen this version for the correct pronunciation.
Ay, ang conductor gali ang original nga compositor kang cancion nga Kruhay? Mayad nga composo hay gina istoria na ya pag bailo kang Panay kang mga Ati sa sangka sadok kay kulintas nga bulawan.
The way they sang it reminds me on how my parents speaks kinaray-a. La-in guid ya kun mismo ang mga tumandok nag kanta sini, ang tuno kuha guid nila ya.
Ito ang pinakagusto kong version.sobrang linis pakinggan
the mother of all kruhay, very clean, the harmony is so astounding. very haunting musical piece. proud to be antiqueno.

I love the emphasis on the dialect in the singing. This is how the piece should be sung:not too fast, not too slow.

This is the standard of KRUHAY. The Original!
the karay-a accent really gives the authenticity of the song, it's just like the ati's are telling the story haha, very clean and precise.
I loved all the renditions of Kruhay, but beats the original. 😍 😍 😍
Oh wow, the original is just on a different level. Amazing, University of San Agustin and of course Benny Castillon 😊
