The Renaissance, the Age of Enlightenment, the Industrial Revolution and modernity had a great adversarial impact on Luther’s theology which preceded these developments. Luther’s writings were primarily centred on Medieval philosophy and thinking. In other words and in short, on hindsight, Luther’s theology found itself on inevitable collision course with modernity Luther didn’t get to see which we are seeing today.

This sort of sound interruption in order to force monetization is at least a blunt manipulation of one’s thirst for knowledge and interpretation … even if money may be essential for some … it’s crap!

He introduced German Bible Thumpers to the world stage with velvet gloved fists. Later German Bible Thumpers learned to take the gloves off and thump the Bible the way blind people thump braille.
