    I like to see what is directly in front of me. I will get a transparent or smoke windshield if I decide to get a new bike.

      Hopefully, I will be doing another windshield install. Going bigger for longer rides. I think 18 inch windshield. Keep checking for a new video within 2 weeks or less for video posting.

    Does this height of the windscreen make any difference in your riding experience?

    • @CeeDeeLight
      @CeeDeeLight  Год назад +2

      It makes it a little better for me since I'm 5' 1" or so. It is better for me than nothing. I do believe a bigger windshield would keep all the wind off me, but I do not like the look of the big ones. I sacrificed look over function.If I were to do a long-distance ride, say like 5+ hours, I would change the windshield. So far, I've only been about 2.5 hours out, and that is okay for me with a 3/4 helmet.

      @@CeeDeeLight thank you for answering his question. I’m not that much taller than you (5’6”) and I’ve been thinking of getting this version of the screen.

    What’s the leopard pattern cover on your lamp from?

    • @CeeDeeLight
      @CeeDeeLight  2 года назад +1

      I have a vinyl cutter (cricut maker) that I used and just stuck them on the cover that goes around the headlight.

      @@CeeDeeLight oh that’s neat! I have a silver one and want it black but can’t find the part anywhere

      @@chancecook5407 I've changed from the leopard and now spayed it black with plasti-dip. I had to remove the ring, but so far the plasti-dip is working well. I recommend 4-5 coats of plati-dip so it won't come off when a bug splatters on the light/rim

    How does it reduce wind?

    • @CeeDeeLight
      @CeeDeeLight  2 года назад +1

      I'm 5 foot 1 inch and it reduces it a lot more than not having a windshield. I feel wind on the sides, because its not a wide windshield. but not in my face. It will not reduce as much as a full length windshield. If you are taller than say 5ft 3in you probably will feel wind in your face imo. If you want to completely block the wind, the you will need to get the big windshield.
