This is definitely a step in the right direction for Bulova... Their moon-mission and original Bulova moon chrono inspired lunar pilot watches, the Frank Lloyrd Wright watches, the vintage inspired Accutron II, the CURV and even the grammy watches... all great steps in the right direction and fantastic at their price point... hard to find cooler history inspired and history making watches at those prices.
Kind of weird not to see a second hand.. I like how it sweeps so smoothly on the precisionist series, it's truly impressive, why not show it here too..
I fell in love with this collection from yesterday when I saw the entry level model in Macy's. I usually dont like watches as I have small wrist but this collection is amazing. Its very comfortable and it just hugs your hand.
I wish you would hold the watch still for at least thirty seconds during these videos. Its really hard to see details and especially on these as I though they were meant to have smooth sweep seconds hand but it looks like it ticks like a quartz but I am not sure as you kept moving the watches around. Its my only criticism of an otherwise great watch channel.
I just saw this at macys TODAY and i thought it was a new watch that just came out. But this video was posted a few years ago. Why havent i seen this watch before? Its a nice watch. I like the rubber band because its comfy but for $1000 i feel like they shoulda used steel or something. I want this watch.
Bulova is a lotovbull, but very nice efforts at Baselworld 2016 with these CURV watches as well as the Moon Watch. These are, after all, sub-$1k watches, yet very distinctive with some innovation to boot. I will keep my eye on the brand.
Thanks for the video and info. In the future, please provide some slower panning shots, and also tell us your wrist circumference for reference. Thsnk you
Looks like it is broken from the start, great. Who would want this? Otherwise a pretty decent looking watch. But why force in tech when it do not add anything? Unless it is so big so it will curve around the wrist, then what is the point?
These watches use a special strap and Bulova doesn’t seem to think making them available is their responsibility so in a couple of years when your strap wears out or looks bad you won’t be able to replace it
Looks like a $99 fashion watch. I'm all for a good quartz watch and I have a Casio that cost $9 new but this thing looks pretty cheesy. Offers a lot though, I admit that.
I have a 7.5" wrist, and it was too small. Broke my heart when I had to tell my gift giver that it's ugly and small. I assumed it was a $100 watch and just buried it in the closet. Had no clue they paid $600 for it.
@@thunderdrake13 Yes, returned for store credit with hours to spare. I had the watch two weeks before putting it on. Then I said "Ah ha! I'll tell her it's the wrong size" ;) Sorry if I'm talking shit about your watch. I have yet to like a Bulova.
mountainhobo yes, and Citizen watches are really good (sapphire glass, eco-drive movement, etc.). Bulova watches are rubbish in comparison, even if they are a subsidiary of Citizen.
You may buy wrong bulova model, I just have sea king, and military UHF, those 2 watches are very well build and great watch. Also very good price now. You should check those up.
I've owned three Bulova watches, all of which I bought in one fell swoop last year. I too liked their designs, but their build quality is crap. *97C102* day/date: the marker for 9.00pm has come off the face. *96B155* Precisionist: The black paint on the numbering on the bezel has worn off for some numbers. *96A158* (Automatic): Probably the only watch without problems. You can get much better quality watches from Timex, Casio or Accurist, or if you're spending $100+, then you are better off with Seiko or Citizen. If you spend more than $300 on a Bulova, then simply put, you are a fool. I've recently bought a Tissot PRC 200 Powermatic 80, which blows anything made by Bulova out of the water. Swiss Movement, sapphire glass, 316L steel, screw-in crown, diver's clasp. Even if that exceeds your budget, get a Citizen for god's sake.
RejZoR Yes, that is perhaps their only appeal. If they used better materials and a more robust construction then I would have no issue. I find it funny that even in their $500+ watches they do not use sapphire! If a sweep is what you want, consider a Seiko 5. They are cheaper and fully automatic with the sweep second hand.

Me too
Careful sometimes Macy up sells their watch for a couple of hundreds higher for commission purpose

the most effective watch review is a stable hand on at least 30 seconds for the observer, indeed
The running seconds for sure tick like a regular quartz. The Chrono seconds hand sweeps. IDK why they can't make the running seconds sweep

If one were to get a quartz this seems pretty legit. You always need one in the Arsenal
It's a slick design and I really like the exhibition case back.
This is just beautiful and innovative. kudos to bulova.
I have this watch and I feel it’s the most comfortable in collection
2:10 "Just super legible" -- That was sarcasm, right? It is anything but.

Where is the highly ultra smooth 242khz sweep second..can't see at curv series..🤔
The running seconds sub dial has a regular ticking seconds hand
Awesome that you already got your hands on some! Really love the look of them.
Best review of the Curv series. Helped me make a purchase.
Could you please tell me the size of your wrist, so I can habe a comparison for the size of the watch?
I like the first watch is any good?
Does this watch tell the Day or Date? I see two other hands and I'm curious.
Thanks for the video and info. In the future, please provide some slower panning shots, and also tell us your wrist circumference for reference. Thsnk you
Cool just won a bid for a new one on Ebay for 200 bucks
Nice. I'm jelly
When does it come out I really want this for my birthday
When will you have it in your store?
Do we have a release date or month?
I'm interested....
So odd, you didn't show the blue one. It was right there.
Just frustrated that no one has RUclipsd it, haha.
You put the watches down on the crown?!
Does anyone know the battery info for this watch and if I can replace it myself without the risk of damaging anything internally?
Got the Grammy awards Special edition, Black. Beautiful watch .
This is a real one? Because I show many fakes one that says hi performance quartz in the back.. And not high frequency..
Is the second lighter coloured watch made from titanium?
50m WR would be nice
I can’t figure out what all the hands do
Can these bulova watches fit in small size wrist??
Nice curve and good effort on the see through back.
Does it light at Night ?
I have this watch ...love it 💖
How I change the Time?
does the gold one have a clear back?
The code of the titanium version . I can only find stainless steel versions

deserves extra points for their effort to make a quartz movement look good, still dead, but at least it's a sexy cadaver :D
Darkvine only watch company that can make a quartz movement look good is Omega
Buy it
where can I buy these... not available on joma or amazon.
Abhishek Srivastava available now on Amazon.. you'll save a couple hundred now too
@@ pls tell me lug to lug of this one
Does anybody have any idea of the dimensions of any of the CURV range?
anyone know the size of the watch?
I need this
name of the watch? or serie?
erik hurtado 98a16x
The x is the variable
this watch is beautiful but small on they need to make the same one on a 44 or 46
Check the sizes. You will be happy.

Pierre Nodoyuna why rude? Thanks for the video
Got to have it
Anyone ever change a battery in one of these?
price???
Are you deaf? He have the price right at the end. $599-$899 depending on the model
Everything good but only 3 ATМ ??? Big mistake in my opinion

Must be the Disney version. As I clearly can see the Mickey Mouse logo.

I really want to love this,, but it's not that legible... for us 50+ cats
Integrated strap? It's also plastic? Wow what a mistake.
They look nice but with a rubber strap? Ugh!
dood i know! they have other versions but this one looks the best
Rubber strapps are actually very comfy.. I have one on my PO right now.

evil looking watch
Too bad its too big :(
Bulova watches suck balls. I had a few of them, and their build quality is rubbish. I'm now sticking to Swiss or Japanese.

Does the top button do anything ? On the gold/silver watch ? I have one but I can’t tell what it’s function
