  • Hey everyone. I know I already have a Rising Sun tutorial video, but it's a bit outdated since the Trick Library went active. I'm experimenting with a different style of instructional video, one that's a bit less formal and rigid, and that I take my time with. It also saves me time in editing, because I do one consistent take with no edits.
Please leave a comment with whether or not the style was more or less effective in teaching you the move. What would make the instructional videos better? What would make them worse?
Also, YES!! More instructional videos are on their way!! Finally!
As always, go to www.independent... for more drill stuff. Sign up for the online competition where you can compete from your own backyard.
    Thanks for watching!

you need to do these types of videos for some of your more advanced moves, like hawiian punch, your subscriber special video, and alot others! that would be very helpful

Could you show away to this with an M1. It feels weird when I catch it for the beginning. Should I be catching it under the receiver or in front of the receiver? Any help would be great.

If you have about $400-$450, buy a demil. If you don't want to spend that much, the best option is the Glendale 1903 Replica Drill Rifle for $200.

This all also depends on your height equivalent to rifle and weight. But hei every one who is and has spun knows this ;) I'm short so I skimmed the floor several times at first.

Thanks for the vid and hopefully going to learn it but what's with the gloves?

    • @DrillDojo

Christian Turner When you get to a certain level, the impact of the rifle on the hands is insane, so I wear the gloves to protect my nerves so I'll be able to drill longer.
